She kept unlocking her passenger door and my mom had to manage locking the doors many times to keep her in the car. When they finally got home, my sister got out of the car and laid down in the driveway for 45 minutes before we were able to wake her up. But yeah she was "good to go", even though she was not entirely conscious. But being monitored by medical professionals is totally overrated 🤣.

This is not a vet where you put pets in a crate, you keep working and their owners come later to pick them up. My mom made pork chops and I was SO hungry and I knew I needed to eat soft foods but damn, I really wanted those chops, smh. I ended up breaking my stitches and lost the blood clot and HOLY FK!! That was the worst pain I _EVER_ experienced! I screamed into a pillow the entire way back to the dentist and while I was in the waiting room. My dentist dipped a long gauze strip in numbing solution and packed it in (instant relief!) but it came out the next morning and there I went screaming all the way back to dentist again. Didn't happen after that time but lesson learned. Dry socket is brutal and I'm definitely much more careful after an extraction. 😖
