The people who came back to the boat after swimming with the Whale shark said it was amazing, fantastic, it was the best experience of their life etc.
Certainly it's a once in a lifetime experience when you get close to a giant animal, it is something extraordinary.
And they have no teeth, so what's the harm really? Unless it swallows you whole but that's not likely to happen
@@Wolfsbane909they can't swallow you either. Their throat is just the size of a coin. Most you'd be doing is sit in their mouth which I highly doubt is happening.
I just did it a week a go in mexico an yes it’s amazing
I met one of these monsters in the Red Sea. I was around 16-17m down and a shadow was above me... I didn't understand, since clouds in the sky don't occur at that time of year!!! I looked up and shrieked like a little girl when I saw a fish the size of a 14 wheeler!!! My dive buddy teased me in front of all the ladies, for the entire season!!! The other team we were with used me as 'status' since we had been so close to such an event. It was one of a dozen magnificent diving experiences, I will never forget!!!
Red sea? Im near that ocean ngl
@@abooalatv1557 "ngl" as if it's shameful to be near that ocean.

That’s so amazing!!!
I can’t stand people who have no respect for nature and the natural environment. Penalties need to be increased dramatically for those who harm protected species.
Penalties wont matter if it is not in your jurisdiction.
@@viivcreations9161 don't rain on my parade

The world wouldn't be the same without them!
I like the nature videos more than tourist or hunting ones. Live in peace beautiful whale sharks. You literally prove my beliefs in whether creation or evolution is true. So impressively magnificent!
I love the little fish riding on the whale sharks like busses 😆🥰
Look8ng for this comment actually.
I really love those little fishes riding with it. 😊
They are my Best friends

And this is literally the largest existing shark and it's literally gentle to humans, I'm very surprised.
Literally surprised.
It's the Largest living fish today!
As are most sharks, bull sharks are basically the single exception
Megoladon?
@@chubbyblackboi gentle to humans? i think not
One of my favorite sea creatures, the second is a Giant manta ray.
I hope some day I can swim with a whale shark before I get old and pass away 😅
You can visit teluk saleh in sumbawa besar Indonesia, more easy to see whale sharak all the time.

Getting to go to Oslob in Cebu Philippines and swim with the Whale Sharks was an incredible experience. They just appear out of nowhere and sometimes slide right by you without you knowing it until it rubs you ever so slightly. They are beautiful and breathtaking. It is a chance of a lifetime to see them.
Did you go on a conservation trip?
Came for the Whale Sharks… stayed for the Master Chief 😎
Ohh thats him talking he sound like him i thought u saw him
I love whale sharks. I hate people who kill sharks for their fins. Just look at that beautiful animal. It’s part of life, a quiet part of life. They don’t bother anyone. All they want to do is swim around with an I open mouth. The idiots who kill them to sell their fins to other idiots who think the fins are magic food should get together on an island far away from everyone else and beat each other up instead of killing gentle unaggressive, beautiful animals.
The japaneese made it legal to hunt them even tho they're literally endangered
The Japanese care more about culture and customs and money than nature. I care so much about nature. I smile every time I see a bird, any bird. I actually smile when I see any animal. I don’t care for bullit ants and box jellyfish, but most others are cool.
@@perrypelican9476 i know, there's a reason the japaneese are strongly disliked (aside from my previous comment)
@@isabeauh-s3100 Don't forget the Chinese who have very nearly the same culture when it comes to endangered animals and food. The pangolin for one. This is part of the reason why I have never been proud of my Chinese heritage.
@@isabeauh-s3100 bruh there's a video of my country (India) slaughtering a whale shark on RUclips. I don't think it's a Japan problem, more of an Asia problem in general.
I wonder why people would dislike this. You’re literally saying “boo” to knowledge.
Maybe they disliked because of the loud background music, I know it definitely annoyed me. But I love the information
Boo more like boo hoo
I wonder if they didn't like whale sharks being in an aquarium?
I love whale sharks❤️
But do whale sharks love you?

@@aidanbarnes4290 damn bro
I love whale sharks too. fan club?
Same, vivi.
Whale sharks are so darn cute
That is my favorite shark. Ever since I went to Georgia Aquarium. I loved the Whale Shark.
I really don't understand putting animals as large as whale sharks into aquariums. I don't think I ever will.
I feel like the right size of aquarium for some creatures would have to be an entire ocean.
You are dumb, it's because they're trying to preserve them and do research. And while they are at it, why not get support donations from people that come see it? Its a win, win.
It's an absolute crime and it disgusts me...generally, in aquariums like that the square footage of the parking lot is larger than the actual area the animals have to swim in... man's quest to profit from the exploitation of animals knows no bounds 😞
@@ettinakitten5047 exactly...it's a crime... If they could talk, I'm sure they would tell us they didn't want to be kept in an aquarium.
It better be a really big fish tank
I love whale sharks so much, they make me cry. I want to see them at least once in my lifetime. In the meantime, I got the Fahlo whale shark tracking bracelet, which benefits the Georgia Aquarium!
Very interesting. Thank you, Master Chief
Never thought I’d hear him say more than one sentence
It's CANON
Why would you ever want to kill this magnificent creature?? They're so amazing looking!!!
All I can think of while watching this is "Wow someone really likes sim city 4 music."
Editing choice aside, very impressive animal.
Wow, this content is free on RUclips? Amazing. Thank you!
Outstanding production of a wonderfully fun video, especially the part about the Atlanta Aquarium. The underwater filmed segments were just unbelievable.
I cant wait to study these beautiful creatures
Truly Beautiful.
We gonna ignore the fact that Master Chief is narrating this?
Love watching documentaries about marine life but during certain parts of this one, did anyone else realize that the songs they use are the same ones from the original Sim City lol
It's good to hear Steve Downes narrate. #Halo #MasterChief
I thought I was The only one who noticed it was him
Lmao this looks like it was made in 2005. I love it
There needs to be an international Law for fishing these beautiful things
They've been declared endangered since 2016, internationally.
I swam with the one at the Georgia Aquarium it was the most amazing experience ever!
How do you get the chance to swim with one?
@@dibti0 The Georgia Aquarium has a remarkable program where snorkelers and certified scuba divers can immerse themselves in their Ocean Voyager exhibit, it is an awe inspiring experience to behold!
Curious about the little fish that hitch a ride on them . Was wondering if they were the offspring at first .
celestialcircledance They are Remora fish a symbiotic species that live on most sharks 🦈
Remoras and Pilot fish. The former are the little hitchhikers you're asking about. They eat the shark's leftovers and keep the water cleaner by doing so, get protection, and keep parasites off the shark. If you ever see little stripedy guys, those are the Pilots. They swim with but not ON the shark and do the same stuff.

Thanks for the upload and the very informative infos about the whale shark identification, we used that in Leyte, southern Philippines. Thanks Klemens
I enjoyed watching this! 🙃
I'm so interested, the whaleshark is beautiful. I just realised I live reasonably close, so I might spend the rest of my life in Ningaloo.
I may be terrified of whale sharks bit I feel heartbroken that there are idiots hunting them to extinction because they want to eat their meat even though other more common fish are literally the same thing
Those Idiots are Greedy
Amazing creature. I want to draw a whale shark
is this voiced by the master chief from halo???
I’ve never heard The Master Chief be so verbose! Onward 117!!
That music is from Simcity 4 😂
13:37
I was hoping I wasn’t the only one that noticed 🤣🤣🤣 I was like WAIT REALLY
Hahaha noticed that. Did they pay for the right then or just stole the music lol
That music is bloody annoying.

Whale sharks are so derpy :)
So great to see bless you'll for sharing .if is a great one GOD BLESS US ALL

The song at 29:25 is Megrez by Gordian Knot in case anyone was wondering. I was not expecting to hear this song in here!
EPICCCCCCCCCCC!!!
Than longer a city bus a whale and a shark combine a whaleshark what a funny sea animal
Master chief cares about whale sharks confirmed
Leave this beautifull gentle giant. Imagine sinking your teeth into a part of this amazing creature..
there is literally nothing regarding eating them… this video is about nothing of the sorts, maybe watch the video and pay attention!!! also, people don’t eat whale shark because it’s actually illegal to hunt and eat them!!!! :D why comment this stuff when you don’t know what you’re talking about
Sad the way people actually think they have the authority to kill this beautiful sea children. 🐳❤ IS THERE SERIOUSLY ONE MEAT THAT THIS WORLD DOESN'T EAT?! it's honestly heartbreaking.
Sad we think we have the right to kidnap and jail them, also.
Why the narrator sound like Master Chief?
terrible pay? you dont see him getting paid in any of the Halo games. maybe he does narration whenever he isnt saving the world
Well I guess we can say one thing about Master Chief he loves wildlife
That's because it IS him.
Someday these guys will realize, "what the fuck? I am a shark!" And start eating anything that moves in the ocean, including people swimming around them.
"wait, where's my teeth ?"
"Ahh I cant swallow this fish!"
I mean there is so much plankton in the world's oceans that I think whale sharks will remain as gentle giants
Sharks don't like to eat people
and then ask "wait, where are my teeth and jaw muscles?"
Cut the music If you want to talk. Better yet just cut it out completely
They may be enormous but they're quite a beautiful animal, to see one of these behemoths in person is a dream, to see them at Georgia Aquarium while some may think it is controversial to see a gentle giant in a 6.3 million gallon tank I think they are a vital link to their wild relatives, there they can be studied in relative safety while we don't have to worry about things like ocean currents, true animal ambassadors and there we can help their species thrive throughout the world!
This is amazing 👏
Nearly 36,000 people swam with whale sharks in 2022 at Ningaloo, hardly conservation is it? The price to swim is several hundred dollars. Says it all really.
Thank you for the information
117 Master Cheif had to be the voice narrative in this film.
Is the narrator Steve Downes? Cuz this guy sounds an awful like Master Chief. 😂
My favorite ocean fish. Never seen one, sadly.
they are so peaceful and so cool
no fish tank will ever be big enough for a whale shark. they make sure to point out just how big the tank actually is but the whale sharks in it make it look no bigger than a regular swimming pool. you will never learn about an animal's natural behavior by studying them in captivity.
0:05 Blue Whale: Am I a joke to you?

Everyone: 😀
The whale: •________•
Not a whale.
So what do people do with shark fins? And the golden age for animal life was 2, 000 years ago when there were a lot less people.
We're all gonna ignore the fact that master chief is telling us about whale sharks?
Who's aMaster Chief? And....what IS a Master Chief?
Gordon Ramsey did a great documentary about the evils of shark finning and got the London Chinese restaurants to stop serving it.
I have swam with them before they got curious and came beside me and below me even brushed against me
crazy music for this
Keeping such a majestic creature away from the natural ocean is wrong

even if i know they aren't hostile i can't swim with big big animals i think it's a phobia of mine 😂
Destiny! Whale Shark

I LOVE WHALE SHARKS
I don't know who kill these beautiful creatures for their fin. There should be very hard law against it.
Tourism..the bane of oceans.
Business that cause overdevelopment of sensitive ecosystems are causing problems globally. Exploiting to the detrement of ecology
Beuh you guys seriously used Sim City music??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Their is a meglodon encounter from ship and crew off astralia in erly 1900s as as in video states when whale shark wasent known creature i wonder if that is what the fishermen seen they were scared to go back in ocean because of the giant shark they claim to b biger then their fishing boat i wonder id it was
You're telling me people travel from all over the world, and they don't even get scuba gear, just some snorkel that fills with ocean water the moment it's not perfectly perpendicular to the surface?
cant believe my adhd actually watched the whole 50 minutes of this video and only spaced out twice . /pos
why's the intro music so funky lol
Is Steve Downes the narrator??? Why does he sound like master chief??
First song in the documentary is from sim city deluxe 🤣
I know that tank is big… but I still wish it was DOUBLE the length and depth.. I just HATE seeing animals in captivity. They swim entire oceans and they are in this tank :/
I know they were saved from meat markets but why couldn’t they have just released it back. Ugh, idk.. I’m glad they saved it none the less.
Yes!! I know right?
sadly they can't release them. the georgia aquarium has animal rehabilitation programs that return animals to the wild, but the whale sharks there have permanent health complications. The tank is as big as they could make it, and is designed with the whale sharks in mind.
I never understood how Atlanta has the biggest aquarium in the world. It's hundreds of miles away from the ocean. Who did this and why?
I can't be the only one who recognizes several background tracks from the Sim City PC game
I just went there earlier today
Thats great. What an adventure and experience to remember. Keep your journeys going. Start a log book, get pictures. Sell to movie people. Good luck , seriously.
I love this beast
Those poor sharks must be full of plastic........
I now have a reason to go to Atlanta 😮
they are a wonderful creature, but there is nothing enigmatic about them
Have you ever swam with one?
Saw one swim next to yacht we were on and it was huge
the song is TOO loud and his voice is TOO low, almost couldn't understand
I remember this creature from Go, Diego, Go lol
I wonder if the GA aquarium chose to capture them in an Asian country so they didn’t have to tangle with their protective status in other waters.
It's CANON the masterchief is an expert on whale sharks.
Why
I saw one of these monsters in my lake this past summer. Wild.
Whale sharks can't survive in freshwater
Maybe it got lost into a lake
He probably died :(
Ohhh destiny... Love uh lot
Isn't this narrator the voice actor for master Chief
That's what I said.
