Still on the hunt for the source of the leak and our continued interview with John Getz on the history of HARP as well as a few other Kettenburgs.

Since there are no insurance companies taking wooden boats anymore each and every beautiful Kettenburg is doomed. Unless there's another insurance company to go to. On average, these boats need repairs between 10 and 50K.

State Farm down in San Diego ended up covering Harp. But yes, it was very difficult to find one. They would cover new boats, but anything over 20 years old was a problem. And yes - they are not cheap to keep in repair.
