Today is Day 2 of the 30 Days of Full Body Training At Home With Dumbbells Program! All you need is a pair of dumbbells for this entire program. The workout of the day is a pull workout targeting the back, traps, rear delts, biceps and forearms. The intervals are set up as 40 seconds high intensity followed by 20 seconds rest and repeated for a 12 minute circuit. Exercises are generated using my workout app Exerprise over the course of the 30 days so you will have a different new routine every day to keep your training fresh and fun. We'll be going through 5 intensity levels utilizing progressive overload with programmed intensified volume and intervals so you can always keep pushing yourself to keep your training effective. One circuit will be an intense dumbbell workout and is all you need to do each day since each round we are increasing volume. Get them gains out of this world right at home with just dumbbells. I work/ teach/ demonstrate with a yoga group that aligns with Power Yoga, DDPY and Flexibility, but love weightlifting. Thank you for putting this out for those of us looking for that extra solid work! Day 2 done and dusted. Surprised at how much I'm feeling it but also how much I'm enjoying it! Thanks again. Love the fact that whilst working from home, I can log off at the end of the day, change, whack on your vid on my TV and get the workout done. All done within 20 minutes of finishing work! Hey guys, I did this workout after day 1 and it was like I wanted to drop those dumbbells and lay down. My chest was completely sore. And anyone thinking 12 minutes are JUST 12 minutes, this is probably the worst 12 minutes. But don’t worry, Mike Sensei has got your back. He pumps you through out the workout and changes his position which helps us to improve our form.

Day 2 completed. But Couldn't do the back workout smoothly because of my lower back pain!. I would be glad to get some tips from you about this matter.
Make sure you're always warming up properly to get your muscles and joints loose for the workout. Lower back tightness is very common so you want to make sure to loosen it up as much as possible before training. Then after your workout, it's essential to do static stretching cool downs to relieve the muscle tension. How do you get the app to generate a random workout like this one, rather than having it spit into muscle groups, like mine is doing? Mine is split into back-->trap-->shoulder-->biceps.

The app generates workouts per muscle group and then you can reorder the exercises and muscle groups in the workout summary section with the editing tool which is how I created the mixed muscle circuits after randomly generating the exercises. We also have a workout builder tool now where you can build it that way from the start now too!
When you provide this workout do you also do a separate workout routine for yourself or do you just do this workout routine once a day for 30 days?
It depends because I sometimes record more than one video in a session. However for you guys, when you first go through the 30 day series I recommend you do 1 video per day because the intensity increases throughout the series. After you've gone through the entire series, then you can double the videos if you like. Do what's best for you based on your current fitness level. No limits!
