1986, climbed N. Eolus and Eolus in a hail storm. The catwalk was totally crazy, all of a sudden we were looking down into the fog. Jagged Mountain suddenly rose up out of the clouds, the sun hitting it, making it glow red and yellow. Then it was gone. That's all I got to see on that climb. We had to run down to Chicago Basin it was hailing so hard. Crazy.

That's wild. I wouldn't want any slick footing for the catwalk. Being above the fog can be quite beautiful sometimes though!
Climbed the same three peaks 48 years ago as a sophomore at fort Lewis college. Still looks as hairy now as it did then 👍👍👍

Sunshine Peak is not in Chicago Basin, it is in Hindsdale County, near Lake City . SUNLIGHT Peak, is in Chicago Basin.
Any idea time of hiking for each day? Was looking to do all 4 in a day and return to the train before it picks up.
