    Scammers can block your SIM card and get a new one with fake IDs to initiate transactions from your account.
    To prevent this from happening, it is advisable to keep your SIM cards locked.

      I heard about that, but you are saying the NEW SIM card the scammer will receive won't work?

      Dean-hw6nn Bro, Unless they have your PIN, they won’t be able to use your locked SIM.☺️

    So if someone steals my sim card and puts it in their phone, it'll ask for this pin?

    • @Fix.369
      @Fix.369  Месяц назад +1

      cn8299 Bro, Yes. Not only that, everytime you restart your phone, you need to enter the PIN to activate it. So others can’t use the SIM without your permission.☺️

    I tried the phones lock pin, and then tried the 4 zeros. So that's two wrong times. I've never used this feature before. What happens if I do it wrong the 3 time. Will it lock my sim or just not let me lock it

    • @Fix.369

      user-bi4wz3nk8p Bro, After putting wrong pin for 3 times your SIM will be locked, and you would need to use SIM PUK code to unlock it.😊

      Unless I see a source otherwise I don't believe that's true. This security feature specifically stops someone from physicslly removing your sim card from your phone, putting it in their phone, and thus intercepting your SMS messages and phone calls. It does not prevent a new SIM card being sent out or enabled by the customer service agent of whatever carrier you use. Scammers can use your personal info they collect to convince a rep that they are you and request a new SIM card in an attack known as SIM swapping. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong please
