  • I wasn't sure whether or not to put this video out there. First, it's vulnerable to share our experience. It's also vulnerable to share our home and everything that is ruined. It just looks like any other ruined house because of a hurricane, but it was our house and it was everything we owned.
But I know that people are curious. I also want to encourage everyone to evacuate when you're called to.
Hurricane Helene changed our lives forever. We will never be the same, but we hope to rebuild and heal.

What a video. So glad your husband was okay. I would totally love to see updates and the progress. Please be safe during the next hurricane. I love your older videos, especially the Florida key ones. Will continue to watch them!

My heart goes out to you and your family. Grateful everyone is safe, but of course, it’s ok to be heartbroken over photos and irreplaceable items. While nothing can replace these cherished memories, if you do happen to start a donation fund, please share. I would be happy to donate, as I am sure other subscribers would. Praying for no further damage in the coming days.

I commend Mitchell's attitude throughout this whole ordeal, sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying. Love you kids, be safe !

Just so heartbreaking 💔 for you and everyone on the gulf coast. We are on the east side so Helene didn’t come our way, but we are keeping an eye on Milton now. I will definitely go back and watch your older videos and even play some in the background while doing other things to help you get more views. And yes, I would love updates as you go along, rebuilding your house, drive around town and show the process of rebuilding, etc.
