1:15 I audibly gasped when I saw that name. He created a short film called "Solstice-5", which is an amazing story about an abandoned, self-sustaining factory on another planet. It's a great story, and he is making a sequel that is coming out soon.
Loved watching your inspirational process. You’ve got good instincts for aerospace engineering. Looking forward to the headline: Vaos Inc. Aquires SpaceX!
Building from scratch typically doesn’t work as with no idea what to build, you’ll tend to build to the known norm, and will end up building a conventional plane. If you design for function, the end result is frequently unique ie the a-10 or f-117
Hey Vaos. I am not sure if its proposital but a lot of your lift bodies and SSTO look like Waveriders. The waverider hipersonic spacecraft concept is quite old (from the 50s I believe). So you probably is aware of the term... ❤
Vaos since you liked that last plane so much, I'd suggest looking at the Sting Ray airplane from the Fallout Series, as well as some other video game ships [Subnautica, Spore, Space engineers, etc.], there is some extremely cool desins out there that go unrecognised Also, your description is a bit wonky, I dont think you copy and pasted it correctly since the last video :p
Cowboy Bebop (anime) also has some cool spaceship designs, check it out Vaos! I mostly build planes, so I found Patlabor (anime as well) inspiring, it had jet C-130, which I tried to replicate.... somewhat succesfully...
VAOS, please make a video featuring The Drink™ and The Cup™ from the hit show Dragging Balls Z. it would not only be so awesome, it perchance may be cool. perchance. because we all know VAOS is cool as fuck.
Careful with ai hallucinations, it tends to make shapes that don't make sense from more than one angle
Yeah, the AI slop pandemic is real.
7:45, Thanks i really appreciate it!
Well we appreciate you!
Solar Nations was a milestone on this Fandom
“Am I recording? Yeah!” 👍
5:03 half way thru this just turns into a Gundam ship review
theres this anime called planetes that has some really cool realistic looking designs, even a lot of the background designs too
Very awesome anime.
Underrated overlooked and mostly unknown...
I have been spreading the word myself for years sadly with almost no results😢.
Yeeess
Vaos looking at Gundam ship/plane designs was a pleasant surprise
Anime has a LOT of cool concepts for ships and shuttles!
Gundam ❤ Robotech ❤ Dr. STONE ❤
@@victor_silva6142 I’ve yet to watch Dr.Stone…

i would say copying stuff directly isn't that bad either, it's a good way to learn technique in building, but do make your own stuff too
Thank you for sharing this. For me Solar Nations was a huge inspiration for my style of building.
in my personal experience, don't use AI for anything, more likely than not it'll bite you back later
I have a really nice book which has lots of really great real-life concept spacecraft (e.g. early shuttle concepts etc.) which I use as inspiration

I saw a plane you flew with the engines in the flying wing design and it was sick enough for me to make my own - glorious.
