    Gun Metal Blue Whale-Tail 930...Achtung baby! This is the 2nd Porsche you've done in this exterior color and, for me, it's this one and classic Silver tied for all time best. 🏁🏁🏁

    Car looks great. Always seems counterintuitive when using a sanding disc on a preservation detail. However, the results speak for themselves.

    I AM Detailing is by far the best in the business and my favorite. BUT, (I hate to say this guys) something just did not feel right. The final product, though better than when it arrived, did not live up to the hard earned and well deserved fame that I AM Detailing is known for. I noticed new people working on the vehicle. Perhaps this had something to do with it. But even more than that was their lack of passion and care for the car. This can only be because it wasn't the usual team. Lack of passion in what one does is fine... As long as what one does, meets the standard for the final product that the customer pays for and expects. It's not my place to tell you how to run your wildly successful business as clearly you know how to do that anyway. However, it is my opinion that if you are to remain at the top of your profession, that you consider what I am saying because, as several other posts pointed out, it appears that the attention to detail seemed lacking and if this persists, your business will pay the ultimate price. And I am pretty sure NONE of us want that to happen because... well, you really are simply THE BEST. Looking forward to your continued great work.

      Appreciate the well thought out comment and the honesty. Curious specifically what made you feel that the results weren't up to par? I know you're a frequent patron of these parts and I want to hear your honesty.
      The team was the standard team - Maurice on dry ice, Victor was doing the color sanding, Sergio (whose been with our shop for years, and full time for over a year now too) did the majority of paint correction, I saw Pedro (who was with jakub from the beginning practically) working on some things, and Jakub finished some bits himself.
      Some common things to consider thats hard to come across on a youtube video - We often have to work within a set budget and time constraints, and the base condition of the car that we're working with is always changing.

      It just the smallest problem, but how about the undercarriage and wheel arches what has been coated with rust protectition. Now it has been removed so no more protection.

    How come ever detail guy says don’t wash your car in direct light, especially foaming it? What I noticed that you get it off quick. Guess that’s the secret.

    • @IAMDetailing
      @IAMDetailing  11 месяцев назад

      We have a soft water system as well and the cars are not out there long. We typically do the washes first thing in the morning or the evening when the light isnt directly overhead either - plus the cool temps and heavy pollution gives us an edge up lol
