@@AnishaBijarniya-x3p For an official course, I'd recommend going through the Coursera route. For more accredited bodies, I'd recommend going through ASQ to become SSGB Certified
I just got a job offer for return merchandise authorization coordinator I have a background in accounting but is this something someone can do or learn without prior experience ?
Thanks for this video. I have one request for you. Can i trouble you to come up with a video on drafting a project plan using Smartsheet or Microsoft Project?
Hi Alvin, I'm an industrial engineer and I've been working as Sales Engineer for 3 years. my plan is to go back to what is related to IE. Do you recommend jumping to green belt? I have a feeling a yellow belt won't help that much and it might be a waste of time and money. what do you think? Thank You.
@mcgeso3422, glad to have you here, and to hear your background in IE! I'd recommend going straight for your green belt - it'll open up more opportunities for you in the short-term and it's a credential I've seen as preferred for many engineering roles.
Hi Alvin, interesting video, I was checking if ASQ would be the best to get certified by...found many strange institutions online and I really want to make in a recognized place.
Completely agreed - I found ASQ to be the most globally accredited and recognized institution, and the one I'd recommend going with if you're looking to become Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
Hey Alvin, thanks for your video. I am wondering if i can get certified in green belt without yellow belts certifications? and is ASQ a world wide certifications? as i live in canada, i am looking for certification that is through out the world.
You don't necessarily need the Yellow Belt Certification to become a Green Belt. If you already meet the qualifications as I mentioned in the video, I'd recommend going straight for the Green Belt, since I've seen that qualification as preferred" or "desirable" on quite a few job postings. ASQ is considered a global certification - I'd recommend checking out their website for more detail, and also search job postings to confirm that Six Sigma Green Belt is what you're seeing in Jobs that you want to apply for
If you're just trying to pass the exam, then get the ASQ Handbook. If you want practical explanations on using six sigma with real-world examples, go of the team field book

I haven't taken LInkedIn Learning's Six sigma courses, so I can't comment on the quality of them. I'd recommend doing your research first to see what the reviews are like and how robust they are. Hope this helps!
Both exams will cover roughly the same content, but in different depths. I'd encourage you to check the Body of Knowledge for both exams so you study to the right level of depth for your green belt exam
From my experience working in different roles, I would say that we are all Project Managers, even if our job title is not formally "Project Manager". I say that because we all manage projects in some capacity with our work. Are you currently working as a Quality Manager?
Everyone was asked same a project manager but the job distinguished project quality management department, technical project management department, engineering project management department, output going project management department. Could I listen your mind about that ?
The big company will distinguish a lot of departments with a lot PMs each department. So I don't know why they do it. And a normal person should be quality management first or project management first?

Hi. I like your video. I am planning to complete Lean and six sigma green belt certification. I from India for which exam should i go? As ASQ exam is very costly for me.
I just got a job offer a tech company I applied because I have manufacturing experience but he gave me a salary position as a return merchandise authorization coordinator. With my education ten plus years ago in business accounting. Is this a job that one can do or learn easily ?
