You can't go wrong! I have a 15 and love it! No turbo "bs" to deal with, great mpg, easy to work on, looks smashing and is plenty fast for me (not Tesla ludicrous mode fast, but plenty fast! LOL).
I just took my 370z to some backroads for the first time last weekend, and I fell in love. It will honestly be really hard to find a viable replacement for it in the future.

Even though the performance looked good on paper, I didn't like the retro design. so I cancelled the order 2 weeks ago but kept wondering did I make the right decision, so watching this made me pretty happy about it. cheers

Excellent review! How's the road noise? That and the ride are often complained about in reviews but you've addressed the ride quality issue and it sounds like it's pretty decent.
The 370Z was never about luxruy but more on driving dynamics and driver feel. Ive said even before the 370Z went out of production. When its gone is when people are really going to appreciate it.

My 350z 2007 all stock just bought a month ago on interstate merging car was behind me I must hit the gas to hard it took off like a rocket I was smiling like a kid in a candy store. The Nissan dealer said a older lady had it keep maintenance on schedule garage kept dealer said she probably never opened it up.

The Z34's 6-spd transmission was a nice gearbox, but for me, not a necessity for a fun drive. If the sequential auto with paddle shifters wasn't part of the package, I might agree that the manual would be a prerequisite.
This will hopefully be my mid-life crisis vehicle. I prefer the shape and style of this car over the new Z (especially with the Nismo kit and other upgrades)... plus, the aftermarket prices are unbeatable in terms of value.
I own a z34 40TH ANNO ,In 6 speed manual JDM RHD Google 40th anno and its one of those but rarer as its RHD .I have a 350Z version T also . .in auto ... still a fun toy car, love both

VQs at full tilt sound almost exotic. With a nice exhaust they do anyway. I'm bias tho I have a 370. I can understand a bad exhaust ruining it but the exhaust note is great I'd say. Engine sound from low to high revs: a meaty sound, into ear rape, into ooooooo, into oh shit that sounds sicc, change gear :D
Dude we know nothing about your life situation. If you're single flatting you can really afford to dedicate a big chunk of your income to one of these if you like. Also worth looking at the cheaper Skyline Coupes too.
@@JoshuaKabatay I think it's worth looking at if you like the 370/350z It's still a sporty looking coupe with basically the same mechanicals. Just tuned slightly more to comfort. There's also a good community around them where I live since they are a little more affordable. You just have to accept that you might be spending double what you do now on fuel. Like I'm on the same income and I recently downsized so that I could still drive as much as a wanted to. So you can probably afford one at a stretch but sometimes being in a heap of debt sucks and there are plenty of good stepping stone cars you can get
350Z and 370Z are like the Japanese muscle car. Big, brute power, tail happy, good cruiser. Find the character similar to a Mustang which is not my thing so never got on with it.

Having owned an auto 370 and now from new a 2018 manual nismo they are initially similar.The extra 18 hp makes little difference really.The difference is entirely in th handling.The Nismo is a lot more planted beast.Slight sacrifice in ride quality ,but an overal more sorted,sporty and satisfying car to drive.Factor in the Nismos rarity and more aggresive looks and the Nismo is hands down the winner everyday.

Except in California. But rules aside, like the RZ-8, it’d be so much better with a V8. Most things are. Imho of course. Of of the many crazy dreams have, I think a k48 V8 would be just awesome. 🤔

Yeah I mean the ride is sporty but I personally think it's totally fine. Bit of road noise but again not horrendous
I have one and replaced the stock Bridgestones with Michelin PS4s and that makes a big difference for road noise, even on the highway.
