That was quite mysterious! I saw the original video not understanding what it was all about. I spent a long time searching the internet for information. The singer is Japanese but the lyrics are in Chinese. I still think the song has nothing to do with cats. "Nyan nyan" is the name of the Chinese restaurant. Apparently "nyan" or "niang" means "girl" in Chinese...
