albert peterson I don’t understand your logic?, what has the original version got to do with it?, This version by Shakin’ Stevens & Bonnie Tyler was a very big international hit record in 1984. It’s production value and sound is much better than the original, which was recorded years before, These ladies probably preferred the sound on this version and therefore chose to dance to it, It’s probably as simple as that Albert, no hidden agenda
