Because of this video, I bought the magic castle for my son. He is doing it now and kinda love it because it is a Harry Potter theme. He wanted to stitch a black for all the white for the back ground

I am so excited to see you work on these! I love doing my Joy Sunday kits. They are so fun. That wolves one looks really hard though. I am currently doing a full coverage one that I got from Amazon. It is called snowy day I think. I hope to have it finished by Thanksgiving. I have 4 more that I want to start, but I keep making myself wait until I get snowy day done first. It is the beautiful colored floss that I love the most. Please show your progress when you do your flosstube videos!

Hi. I was wondering if the words on the first haul pc. say Magic Ball?.. 🤔. as there is a glass ball in the pic? I would change the words to that anyways.
I'm just saying but I'm pretty sure Joy Sunday is just a cheaper version of dimensions (gold collection) .
They are likely a copycat. Dimensions has made it clear they design everything at their home office. Someone has a video tour of their offices. Joy Sunday is definitely a cheap knock off. The store I order from doesn't copy any images to my knowledge but there are about 5 Joy Sunday stores out there, not sure if they are all the same. I'm not particularly fond of most of the designs from Dimensions. Plus I like picking my own fabric

To answer your question regarding why the fabric is always white: I think is because it is better for printing.

So I researched a little (actually, I've seen way too many unboxing :P) either the kit was print out a few years back, therefore, it has the "old" format, or the printout doesn't have that many divisions (like three or less) so it is not, or at least is not supposed to be, confusing.

Each "strand" has 6 thinner strands in it! Does that make sense? I'm planning on doing a beginner video soon too!
For an 11 count it's 3 threads and 14 count it's 2 threads it should show on your kit front picture page 👍

What kind of hoop or frame do you put your cross stitching on
Hi Trina, for Joy Sunday I typically stitch in hand. Other stitching I use Qsnaps or scroll frames

Can you just follow the symbols on the material instead of using the pattern ? As k get confused with the charts ,you have a terrible cold ,you poor thing ,l hope you get well soon ,you feel miserable when you are not well .
Beverly, yes you can follow just the pattern on the aida. Thats what makes it great. The Joy Sunday kits are printed so clearly and make is super easy
