So, how are we feeling after the finale? I, personally, think Danielle and Stefania somehow managed to reinvent their own chemistry, and it practically blows my mind, 'cause, it was insane all this time, and what we saw in the finale was like- EVEN MORE? I barely have words to describe it. Maybe it's the result of a half of the season marina separation talks, but I see how both Maya and Carina are closer, like??? Their connection is deeper now.
Hoping the WGA gets the studios to pay the writers fairly, so that they don't struggle, and we don't struggle long without their shows (still, I'm ready to wait as long as it takes, because the greediness is evil, literally one of the worst things to ever exist within humanity.)

I absolutely love these two so much, they are just amazing and have such a great relationship. Danielle and Stefania have such great chemistry and do such a fantastic job of bringing these amazing characters to life, it is just such a beautiful thing to see. I was relieved that Maya and Carina ended in such a good place in the finale and the fact that there was no cliff hanger for them - I am happily awaiting their return next season! While I think the writers did an amazing job to bring my favourite characters back together slowly and build their relationship back up, I agree Stefania and Danielle added so much complexity to these scenes! I agree with you that their chemistry was off the charts for a couple that already had impressive chemistry. I think I really noticed it when they look at each other: the 'I really see you' look and the 'I cannot live this life without loving you' look. Do you have a favourite scene of them from this season?
Also, yes, I agree that their connection is deeper, it's like Carina could fall all the way in love with Maya because Carina finally felt like Maya chose her over the Captaincy. But more than that, I think Carina was scared to lose Maya if things didn't work out for Maya, but since she is doing the work with Diane, I think Carina finally trusts that Maya won't put her life in danger when things don't go her way. I think that Maya finally realised that there is more to life, that she doesn't have to earn Carina's love by winning and I think that was a turning point for her to realise that she needs Carina more than being Captain.
god, yes, agreed with everything you said! I think I genuinely love all s6 scenes, maybe because I'm a sucker for drama or the complexity, I just love all of them and I mean deeply each and every one, like every scene comes with something that I love about it. I love their 6x15 scenes where Maya apologizes, I love the softness of 6x18 scenes, I love Maya's first try to make amends in 6x09 when Carina came to the apartment to take her shampoo, the hotel after food poisoning (the way I clowned and believed she was pregnant 😬)
I think maybe my top will be the scene in bed in 6x18 cause it was so soft and had so much love... see, it's hard to choose😂
@@AlexandraSS Season 6 is definitely the best Marina season...the ups and downs...yes, parts of it are really hard to watch, but the intensity and passion involved are terrific. I like the sad moments too - the rooftop fight, when Carina comes back to the apartment in episode 9...all of that is just so real. Them coming back together also wasn't rushed - well, Carina moving home was a little rushed (why she wasn't in 6x16 I really will never know), but the writers knew they had to get her back before the end of the season, so I get it. But the speed in which they finally came back together was lovely and paced just right. I'm thrilled for this after the atrocity that was Marina in the second half of season 5 :) :) :)
what a great edit. so good keep up the great work. as far as the finale im in absolute aww... to be honest the how show since day one first season simply amazing. the writers and actors/actress absolutely deserve way more because im sure the network is getting paid they should be getting paid even more because they are the ones who bring the show to life. what can i say about Danielle and Stefania "PERFECTION" even in their flaws its perfect. i can honestly say of course in my opinion these two lovely ladies are amazing this chemistry on set and off set is beautiful and hopefully it surpasses all the odds of the entertainment world. their friendship is so beautiful. personally, I wouldn't want that cause Carina said multiple times that she wanted to go through pregnancy, but it is a possibility, for sure. I would even say a big one.

Your video is brilliant as all of yours are.
And my criticism is in no way about your work and how fantastic it is. It is my struggle with watching almost anything on tv or at the movies after having spent do much time researching the systemic misogyny that women are fed through the medium of entertainment.
Station 19 writers have chosen a cliched romantic trope over saying anything empowering for women. Making that misogynistic demotion permanent by the end of the season is unforgivable. And in a show with so many women behind the scenes ... doubly unforgivable. And then to add one final blow to women ... This is not the 1950s. Maya can have a career and a family. Carina saying she's coming home because Maya passed on the captaincy is one of the worst messages for women I have seen on network television in a long time. Maya should have never stopped being captain. She should be captain again soon. And Carina should support her wife's career goals and not just expect Maya to give up on all of that to focus on only what Carina wants. Being romantic doesn't lessen the damage of that message.
yes, I agree. the demotion was and still is the most disrespectful thing we've seen here? like, clearly, literally everyone on the show breaks the rules EVERYONE and yet Maya was the only one to suffer the consequences
I agree that her ambition still has a place to be, but, I mean, if she genuinely chooses her mental health and life over the job (but addresses it! not like the rushed final episodes as always, but deeply with a lot of words please) then I'm fine with it, I just hope that maybe next season we'll get a couple of hints here and there if there wouldn't be an actual conversation about it
Carina for a 100% would support Maya, it never was about making her wife a housewife, it was about the drama Maya was always in, but, still, the captaincy was deserved, the ambition is a good thing to have until you push yourself towards a no return point.
Maybe with a change of showrunners they'll address different things next season? idk I'm slightly hopeful, but, not much, I guess
I agree with you and I also wanted to say that, for me, the worst part of their storyline was when they made them want Jack to be the sperm donor for their baby. I do like Jack as a character and I understand that they kinda wanted to show that "they were all friends now" and the Maya & Jack incident was completely in the past, which is fine, but wanting to make a baby with the man that your wife CHEATED on you with, for whatever reason, is just taking way too far, and hella weird too, like wtf. I was rlly disgusted when the writers decided to take that path and I hope that they don't ever come near something like that again. I also think that at this point their whole story has been kinda repetitive, with Maya constantly f-ing things up because of her mental health issues and Carina leaving once she reaches her limit. They should give them a different arc already

I mean sure Carina can befriend him cause damn Jack is nice, but not as donor to their possible baby? especially, it felt out of place, when they discussed the possible outcomes of the baby being from a random stranger meaning not knowing their personality and mental background, so, why Jack, of all people? never did it cross their mind that he wasn't the most mentally stable person ever since the beginning? that was weird to say the least.
also true about circling storylines, but, I guess it's a shondaland thing, look at greys, they've been doing the same things for 1,5 decades, couldn't expect anything else from the spinoff, honestly.
when maya didn't stand up for captaincy and carina said "then i am coming home" to me i didn't take it as oh okay carina is coming home because maya doesn't want to be captain, but rather that was the final showing that carina needed to trust that maya was really changing
Well, the goal here has always been making Andy captain. Always. So they used this trope to get that done. The character I have beef with is Ross. She’s pretty bad professionally and personally.

honestly, the writers left too much bread crumbs that she is pregnant and it's dumb that she's not
but at least now they consider IVF which they should've done since the beginning of that storyline
@@AlexandraSS The only real breadcrumb was Carina getting sick. I don't know, I never thought she was pregnant though. And yes, they should've done IVF from the beginning, and hopefully they do the injections in a hospital this time - them doing it at home and at the station made Carina look like an incompetent OB, which she's definitely not.

like I couldn't just keep thinking she's not pregnant while they kept mentioning that literally on the loop in 6a and less in 6b it just doesn't sit right with me🤷♀️but now we're waiting for the IVF storyline to kick off and I'm pretty much excited and curious how they'll make it play out
