The most unsettling part of the game was when it forced switched Pyro to stop playing the only tolerable character. Also *12* seasons of different Brainiacs, what are the chances all of it actually gets released and not stopped halfway through because the playerbase isn't there and the game shuts down.
Same with Marvel's Avengers back then. Let them make 2 or 3 seasons, at best 4. And then they'll shut down the servers because nobody is playing this game.

Once they actually have to MAKE more content and the game isn't making money from their precious precious MTX store, all the sudden those other seasons will mysteriously disappear. it’s obviously just a cash grab that uses the arkham name for attention. nobody spends time on things anymore, and you can tell just looking at the older games compared to this one. i refuse to buy AAA games anymore because of this, especially when a game 15 years old LOOKS better than this. absolute dumpster fire, even disregarding the end
Imagine having 4 unique characters, some already have established combat mechanics like Harley just for all of them to use guns. The have a Hulk character (King Shark) that uses guns. DEADSHOT doesn’t have aimbot nor ricochet that could also interact with the environment. Capt. Boomerang could at least have wide AOE crowd controls or something. The squad have 4 members yet all play the same with little deviation. Gotham Knights got a lot of shit but it’s a thousand times more fateful to the characters and universe.
But they all have their own play styles, and ways of movement. The game is so much fun when u actually play it instead of watch someone. Haven’t gotten bored of it yet 😁
and it's not like the Suicide Squad in the comics has a lack of characters that use guns that they could use, they got atleast Deadshot, Bloodsport, Rick Flag, KGBeast to name a few you could pick.
Gotham Knights also at least had different playstyles. You don't play Nightwing the same way you play Red hood, and you don't play Red hood the same way to play Robin and Batgirl is literally game breaking so I don't bother with her
I'm glad this game doesn't exist, it's just a collective hallucination that will fade away soon, can you imagine a dumpster fire like this actually being real?
I still can't get over how Batman was treated in this game. It's not only disrespectful to the character, but disrespectful to the original Rocksteady team behind the arkham trilogy. They just embarrassed him and turned him into a joke. And oh my god, "causin long term mental and emotional damage to everyone you knew." Imagine being a writer and writing Harley Quinn to say this to Batman in amongst her little monolouge before she shoots him in le head. They don't even play into the sadness of that death at all, it's like the new writers hate the arkhamverse.
Also the verison of her who said that is apparently also the one who literally broke Jason Todd's mind (he was a child) and disfigured/attempted to murder him
Brother Kevin Conroy doesn't give a shit even if he was still alive. Batman's death was also anticlimactic asf like really? he just sat there on the park bench, gave a corny one-liner, got a corny one-liner back from Harley and got shot in the head point blank with a normal revolver, a 5 year-old could've thought of a much better ending than that like wtf. This is some MW3 tier writing right there. Edit: I looked further into the game since I only cared what happened to Batman... Did Rocksteady purposefully try to make this their worst-reviewed game I don't get why they did such a shit job.
Because, like with most modern AAA companies, everyone who was actually good at Rocksteady left the company. That's how it almost always is with this shit. They're riding on the coat-tails of the people who made the Arkham series to peddle bullshit and trick people into initially believing its on the same standard. But this wave of nu-devs who pull this shit are genuinely high on their own farts and don't realize that they're making garbage, until it gets released and people aren't sucking them off universally for creating the next great thing like they were expecting.
The fact that they captured Batman and didn't think to experiment on him to see how the mind control works and potentially find a cure that could be used to immediately stop superman

Just a small correction on the topic of Superman's weaknesses.: Cryptonite is not his only weakness. he is VERY vulnerable to magic as well, to the point that in He-Man Crossover event he got mind-controlled by Skeletor almost instantly, as an example. Yellow Lantern Ring also had no problem taking over him, so pretty much anything targeting his mind seems to be effective.

This could easily be the best Arkham game if you played as batman and had to use his arsenal to take down the justice league. The mans planned it all, he'd 100% be able to do it!
He even built a yellow room and custom-made yellow suits for him and Robin to kill Green Lantern, if he had to. I think for Superman, Batman just shows him images he took while Superman was infected with pink kryptonite, and he'll collapse in shame. And I think for Aquaman, Batman'll just electrocute the nearest source of water and then stab him in the gills or something.
This is the most rushed development of a universe I’ve ever seen. Began as Batman-centric with vague hints towards other heroes setting up their existence, then all of a sudden the entire DC universe gets involved, none of them actually act like themselves for their first appearance, they all _die_ in their first appearance, 3/4 of the main protagonists are complete newcomers to this universe and, oh yeah, MULTIVERSE
The game also retconned Deadshot's appearance so he could be black. On Arkham Origins, Assualt on Arkham, and Arkham City Deadshot was white but they retconned this by saying the Deadshot from the other games was a fake and the one in this game is the real Deadshot and he tracked down and killed the "fake" one
Assault on Arkham literally isn't canon to the games so why you're using that as an example is anybody's guess. They literally just say he's an imposter, who cares lmao
The only way they can redeem this game if they have Red Hood hunt down the suicide squad one by one and kill them and then have him resurrect the Justice League without their brainwashing so that they can beat all 69 versions of Braniac once and for all.

What if as the premise of the game instead; you pick which Justice League member to play to fight against the brainwashed teammates. . That way you can enjoy to continue to play this as a Arkham game or see how Rocksteady would have done a Superman or Wonder Woman game. I just want to play as either Wonder Woman or Batman and see their struggles of finding ANY alternative than to kill their friends and team. . Leading to a GTA 5 esque choice where the choice to save the Justice League member is WAY harder than killing the brainwashed version; but you unlock the ability to play as the member you saved.
It’s just such a massive tonal clash, because the game absolutely expects you to take it seriously when they have you game end the justice friends, with them playing le sad music.mp3 and everything, but the characters are constantly making MCU one-liners, and the gameplay is wacky and zany, and none of the player characters even take a moment to reflect on these moments, Harley literally just ventilates Batman, and leaves his body lying dead on a bench, you can’t expect us to take these moments seriously, if the game can’t. Like, this is one of the prime examples of Millenial writing I’ve ever seen, you can tell they got some fresh new writers straight out of California, and they packed the game so full of Reddit-tier dialogue because they’re terrified of anyone losing interest or worse, not chuckling, for even a moment, and this obviously comes at the cost of the overall writing quality. Like, it we’re actually killing a brainwashed Superman, don’t have him quip, have him be a genuine threat that doesn’t speak as he speeds around the arena, acting more like a stage hazard than a boss or enemy. You’re killing this character, and if you want us to take it seriously, you can’t be throwing jokes at us. And all of this is without even bringing up that this is a $70 game with micro-transactions that’s single-player yet always online, and can only cross the 9 hours of gameplay mark if you do EVERYTHING.

But you'd rather people not know that, right? Go back to Twitter or Reddit to shill your company, please.
Most characters in the DC comics tend to have interesting backstories and character relatability. Green Lantern/Guy Gardner/Hal Jordan is a pretty relatable character in the way that he has to stay in line with one emotion and mindset in order to even function with the Green Lantern corp ring. What i mean is that we can relate to him on the level that we cant let negative emotions like fear, rage, and greed take hold of us or we become something that is less than desirable. The reason why i say that is due to the fact that Hal Jordan has many times given in to different negative emotions and has become a villain because of that. Of course Batman on a basic level is mostly relatable in his character, but I feel like certain characters are very underappreciated due to the fact that their powers and gimmicks seem too odd to be relatble, but its kinda a fact that powers are only their to serve as a plot device while the character is what usually comes in front. So in other words, Pyro and so many others shouldn't judge a character based off of one small part of their whole character. Also Superman has multiple weaknesses but I'll guess we can ignore that fact since some people choose to not read comics or at least do some more research.
What’s with these people (writers) butchering well known characters in established universe by killing them in disrespectful way? TLOU 2 and Star Wars Sequel Trilogy as examples Edit: I see that Sweet Baby Inc is the culprit of all this
TLOU2 was meant to be divisive and they wanted to risk that, whether it was worth it or not I don't know🤷 But I am curious about the last of us 3 and how much more it can go than already is at 2
Would’ve been so much better if they had Jason or Night-wing kill Batman. They definitely could’ve had them come in to help the squad beat Batman and had them put Batman out of his misery.

This is such a horrible follow up to Knight. I know this game will fail and honestly, I kinda hope it does.
They didn't even let Kevin read the in-game last message to The Daily Planet. Shameful and hollow desecration of the man's legacy. But then the birthday card has 13 segments but you can’t read any of them for the next couple of years and then also on top of that you have to pay for that birthday card
You know, I wonder if this game could have been about the Suicide Squad *defeating* the Justice League one by one and then freeing them from Brainiac's control, without the whole "murdering superheroes" part. Plus, I saw a comment saying that Batman could have been the one not under Brainiac's control instead of Wonder Woman, as he had came up with a contingency plan to defeat the Justice League in case they were brainwashed or gone rogue, and that could have served as the Squad's mentor. Wouldn't it be crazier if the game was instead titled Suicide Squad vs. the Justice League?
The thing is, they could've defeated the JL and captured them in super holding cells and then stopped the brainwashing and saved the city, then you could of played as the villains or JL in stopping the other brainiacs in the other dimensions for different seasons keeping the game some what alive.

Also Superman has multiple weaknesses but I'll guess we can ignore that fact since some people choose to not read comics or at least do some more research.

crazy how one comment wrote a significantly better ending than writers who probably took months 😭
Better ending than the canon
The peak was the silence Australian bit
this game was 10000% supposed to be aa destiny type game but got reworked at the last minute, every mechanic screams "mmo looter shooter"
“Congratulations team, you’ve made it farther than anyone else.”
They… They took the train.
I definitely just consider this a darkmultiverse take on the arkhamverse. Like just the worst scenario that could happen
The only takeaway i have from this game is that the Multiverse is a thing now, so we can just collectively act like Arkham is in a different universe and that this is a fever dream
Edit: I wrote this before watching the while thing. This is such a horrible follow up to Knight. I know this game will fail and honestly, I kinda hope it does.
We gotta get Pyro to play the Arkham games on stream...
Sloppy squad: kill the slop league.

ENDED KEVIN. CONROY S CAREER WITH DISRESPECT
0:11 that didn’t age well
Pyro shouting from the bathroom when he hears someone talk shit about him is legit the funniest thing I've ever seen on this channel.
They didn't even let Kevin read the in-game last message to The Daily Planet. Shameful and hollow desecration of the man's legacy.
This is like Rocksteady went down to 7/11, got a birthday card, scribbled out happy birthday, and wrote sorry for your loss, threw in their business card, and called it a day.
But then the birthday card has 13 segments but you can’t read any of them for the next couple of years and then also on top of that you have to pay for that birthday card
because that was clearly added AFTER he died. Come on now.
@@Bladius_ 😅 bro wondering why dead voice actor can't read his own send off message
dude? why do you think they added that?
Imagine forcing a dying man to voice act his own last message on a video game
The problem is that it is made to only make money. Before the creators actually liked what they did. Now it's just fast food products

"Sunset overdrive: kill the justice league"
You know, I wonder if this game could have been about the Suicide Squad *defeating* the Justice League one by one and then freeing them from Brainiac's control, without the whole "murdering superheroes" part. Plus, I saw a comment saying that Batman could have been the one not under Brainiac's control instead of Wonder Woman, as he had came up with a contingency plan to defeat the Justice League in case they were brainwashed or gone rogue, and that could have served as the Squad's mentor. Wouldn't it be crazier if the game was instead titled Suicide Squad vs. the Justice League?
The thing is, they could've defeated the JL and captured them in super holding cells and then stopped the brainwashing and saved the city, then you could of played as the villains or JL in stopping the other brainiacs in the other dimensions for different seasons keeping the game some what alive.
whenever pyro reacts to a dono negatively i cant tell whats acting and whats genuine emotion
It’s both.
Watch him lose his mind to people saying he has no hair in the more recent video
Love how they added the casing falling sound effect when shooting a revolver for batmans death
Pyro really admitted to being lesbian, I’m proud of him
Making me act up
"People can't call you a Critikal clone because his content is enjoyable" was such a legendary dono and Pyro's response had me rolling.
RIP Dono guy, you will be remembered o7
Time: starts at 7:05
It's very offensive to me that they killed off an iconic hero as if he's a joke.
And it’s even the last game the actor is going to voice Batman in(maybe even last game of all time idk) and the fucking disrespect.
To be honest, I thought Harley intentionally missed any vital weakpoints when she shot Batman.
Holly hell, manlet Ivy is literally AVA from Borderlands 3
She’s Greta thundberg
Garth Ennis level writing
I hate almost *everything* Ennis puts out but even he of all people is on record saying he's fond of Superman and Wonder Woman. Not sure what his take is on Batman; but judging by his...uh... admiration for Punisher, I'd say he may not be a fan lol.
Don't get him started on Captain America though.
Let alone Americans.
I thought Punisher MAX was good.
@@telophasemusicOr religious people...
@SirDankleberry From what I've heard that was only the way it is because there were several higher ups forcing Ennis to not pull an Ennis and make it awful.
I lasted an hour and 40 minutes. Just long enough to get a refund from Steam. I took everyone's advice and used King Shark. Too many numbers...
This is made by people who hate heroes, incentivized with a message to send.
As has happened so many times, people who hate the source material have taken over to try and change it just to spite the fans
It will only get worse
It's hilarious that this is one of those videos where people aren't absolutely rawdogging pyro, instead agreeing with him on the game
This shows how Sloppycynical truly lives in a society.
The debit card bit, dear lord.
It's almost as bad as having a Bat credit card.
@@vinetak2645 a bat credit history is even worse
What made me furious as well is that they used the arkham theme from previous games. One of my favorite tracks, it's melody had tons of different versions throughout the series, calm, dynamic, thrilling, triumphant etc. I listened to the whole arkham asylum, city and almost all knight tracks just to find all of the track's versions. And hearing the same theme in this game (knowing what happens in it) was like a slap in the face...
Imagine selling 1/13th of a game
I feel like Warner Bros pretty much killed Rocksteady with this. I’m not usually for retconning storylines just because they have mistakes but….this just doesn’t even feel like the same universe and it probably wasn’t even originally meant that way until Warner Bros made them say it’s set there.
This is literally the only thing Pyro has said that we can agree on
why in ever single game that one black lady she is in, she is the only one who looks like the voice actor?? ALSO ... Multiverse storylines are the death of creativity and stakes in a story >.>
Amanda Waller

1:58 BRO IM DEAD 💀THE DELAY AND EVERYTHING 😭"I'm-I'm-I'm playing single player!" In the GOOFIEST ASS VOICE
Pyro's eyes poppin off of his eye sockets when they killed Batman killed me, lmao
So Braniac is capable of mind controlling every JL member, but loses to people with guns and a shark that can jump extra good. Gotcha.
Yes, he can mind control the incorruptible god, a guy with the mental discipline better than any other human who's additionally fueled by his trauma and a person with a will so strong he can use it to fly faster than light and wield the most powerful weapon in the universe, but I guess a gun and some killers is too much for him.
The fact that Braniac took over literal superhumans/a super skilled dude with technology, but ultimately fails to a crazy chick, a guy who's good with guns, an Australian and a shark guy with daddy issues truely baffles me
The fact that you said the fact that shows the fact that you didn’t really need to say the fact that

hey guys, if you want some neat superhero content to read, i highly recommend checking out Super Supportive on royal road, and Worm by wildblow. the latter is infamously dark and depressing, but both are really unique and creative takes on the genre, with really great characters and setting
there's quite a few superhero genre stuff on royal road, but they don't compare to super supportive imo. if people want to share their favourites too please feel free to. i'm always hungering for more of it.. it's... kind of lacking, in other forms of media... :/
Yooo the insomnia festival ad having sonic R music in the bg, love that sm
I feel like this game just gets key details wrong abt chracters or powers, especially when it comes to the green lantern ring. It doesnt allow you to kill (The only examples i've seen were from like super insane characters like dark verse bruce and insane Hal from the time booster gold messed the future up.), and im like 90% sure being mind controlled would make the ring weaker since it's all about willpower and I think being mind controlled might make that a problem.
they even changed the skin on deadshot from origins and city. idc about race or female leads cause that doesn’t matter, but they’re literally changing characters from the “same universe”. it’s obviously an agenda game, and i don’t know when politics really became so integrated in gaming but i play games to escape the world. if you’re gonna create a world, stick to it (ik it’s not the og rocksteady devs)
@@jolyproductionssweet baby inc worked in this game; for reference, that’s like doing an interview where the devs say outright “yes this is an agenda game”

It’s hinted at, and there’s lots of evidence behind the fact that the entire “justice league “ are just genetic copies of the originals and that in season two we will have to go up onto brainiacs ship and save them, so none of the justice league is actually dead.
