Oh my word that first game was brutal. "stop it stop it! He's already dead!" Lol Love the braids with chainsaws thou, this is looking like a sick era for rac sac
Yeah, rac sac is truly amazing :) Honestly, this is probably one of aggro decks, that I'm kinda fine with as control, even though it's pretty devastating :) But Braids... Just too cool of a card!
Yeah, this deck is basically synergy on synergy on synergy on insane cards - wouldn't be surprised if we see way more of this in the future. Deck is insane :) Glad you liked it!
Indeed, our opponents were in some horror stories, despite their will :D I really felt bad for golgari player, it really felt unfair for them :) Sacrifice Rakdos might make appearance again in future, deck is fire :) PS. Hi!
THE ABSOLUTE LEGENDARY CHAINSAW LEGEND!!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Yeah, it was destined to happen :) And chainsaw seems pretty amazing, 3 damage for 2 mana is already solid rate, and equipment is pretty much free then
What a madlad :D I would probably remove Journals - as All Will Be One is kinda card advantage card (and those cards are burn ;). So kinda similar role, just higher cmc
@SlothMtg Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of my favorite horror movies of all time! I'm from Texas also, so that's also a personal bonus. 🤣 I'm still watching the video, and these games have been insanely fun to watch! Disturbing Mirth can chain(saw) a lot of value in the long run.
Yeah, Mirth is card made exactly for this deck, and I have to say - it's better even than I expected. It's a powerhouse card, that gives you like 1 card more than it should :)
I have an unrelated question, recently I have been getting a lot of match ups against these mono black discard decks and although my win rate against those decks is fairly decent, it's just so annoying to play against, there is nothing more demoralising than getting a bandit's talent, into a bat into a Liliana in your face. So I was wondering is there a deck that you recommend that sort of counters mono black discard?
Hmm, hard to answer this question objectively for me - so I'll just say what my gut feeling is - usually I don't have much issue against discard with most decks, you can usually see it in the videos even - most of the time we make sure to NOT give any value for bandit's talent. And remember - most of their discard is a 1 for 1, so you aren't really behind. Lili is very scary, but rest of cards trade symetrically (ruthless negotiations are rough though). I don't know which deck excels the most at this matchup atm, but in most of my games all I needed to do is try to sneak 1-2 extra cards (fountainport, some small card draw, single counterspell to stop some huge discard card) - then make sure you have 2-3 cards in hand so their talent doesn't do anything. Their value is pretty low in the deck, moment they start topdecking, most decks that are non-aggro beat them. So yeah, generally it shouldn't be a hard matchup for most decks showcased on channel, at least that's the feeling I had - never felt like mono black discard is too much of a problem. You can also just play azorius control and add extra 2 mana counterspells and get losts + extra card draw, it should completely smash them (few quick studies, 4x get losts to counter talent after they pump 7 mana into it etc.). Hope it helps!❤🦥
If you struggling against discard that simply means your deck doesn't have a lot of value. Add more cards that let you draw more cards. Discard decks got nothing to do against decks that can keep drawing
In addition to others' comments I wanted to mention one great discard-hate spell in standard right now is Obstinate Baloth. Only uncommon so pretty inexpensive to craft.
Man these forge decks are such a problem to deal with in the current meta. Make Your Move and Tear Asunder are decent but they are often too slow vs. other aggro decks when you need them for creature removal. Even with Cease/Desist, Season of Gathering, Season of the Burrow against forge you might already be dead with it still sitting in your hand. I'm tempted to try Bovine Intervention but it's downside is really rough.
Yep, Forge is definitely one of the most annoying cards - it's similar to dimir toxic counters - if you see them, you are like "oh no.." and you start counting time for lethal turn :) I think Stroke of midnight could be good, it's instant, and if I recall - it can target any nonland, costing same as forge so you are nearly equal on trade :)
@@SlothMtg thanks for the Stroke of Midnight suggestion; kind of a bad Void Rend though. Like "Make Your Move" 3 mana is a bit slow vs other aggro matchups but maybe cutting the 5/6 mana artifact sweeper for it instead of a 2 mana removal mitigates enough. I'll give it a try.
Nemesis is strong card, definitely an option. Card is pretty insane, but other aggro cards are even more insane - so it sees little play, somehow, but still amazing card we will see more, in future
We are not really a control deck - so it is very good synergy, but I think other cards are even better. But it will definitely work with beseech the mirrors, just a different twist for deck :)
does anyone else here have a ticking itch TO SCREAM INTO THE EAR OF CARD GAME DESIGNERS AT WIZARDS AND ASK WTH WERE YOU THINKING?!!!! there needs to be aggressive card bannings. I lost to that mono red BS twice in a row and if I were to hit a 3rd effing game in a row loss to mono red i was going to uninstall and sell my colleciton!
Had the same problem I would always flood out and opponents had perfect curves and answers I ran 15 lands at some point and still managed to hit 12 lands in the top 24 cards
@@marvin4233 While the red deck is a menace in bof1 it's not stopping me from climbing the ladder and beating mono red. Can any brew i make stop the turn 2 win by any means? No, but they don't hit that every time. Having access to 3 mana on turn 2 will be a game changer IMHO. Let's see what if any 1 cmc answers get printed in this 5 year legal core set then reassess the meta. Mono red doesn't stop you from playing magic it just limits the decks you can enjoy while playing it due to forcing you to build decks that can compete.

😂🤣 The commentary is too good!
Just some wholesome fun for the whole family. Sacrificing monkey toys. I love it. Teddy bears in rainbows.
Just another wholesome day, on Sloth-family-friendly channel 😂❤🦥
Very happy you enjoyed some good toy-related gameplay!🤷♂️❤🦥
I also like Case of the Stashed Skeleton in decks like these!

I will dub thee “Sackdos”
Correct!😎🦥
It's The Rakdos Chainsaw Massacre Day at The Slotherhouse! Good day to you, Sloth!

i play that deck and slow decks with draw effects beat it
Look at sloths dimir rat deck

Not taking advantage of beseech the mirror for a cmc4 wrath effect?

this deck is absolutely filthy! that first match was so good it almost felt like cheating! Why does WOTC print so much value in aggro?🤣
Indeed, deck is just overflowing with synergies and it often has more value than control decks, just by abusing those synergies to the limit :)
What is good sloth
Can't be better, especially on Braid's day!❤🦥🔥🔥🔥

No bans needed. Let the new core set drop. Meta will correct itself.
@fluffybunnyz285 running less lands can have the opposite effect due to the hand / draw smoothing arena clearly has programed into it.
