You don't need to have your tickets printed out. I always download the pdf and show the train manager just the QR code. They might want to check if the name on the ticket matches your ID.

Hey guys. Hello from sunny Brisbane! I was searching for a decent vid on the Berlin-Warsaw train, and yours came up on top. Good stuff. Very informative. Planning a couple of weeks in central/eastern Europe next year, and rather than taking a plane (as usual) I'm really thinking the train option instead. Thanks again!

Yep, great thing about EU - no borders. You just go from one country to another with no issues.
And if you will be back in Ukraine some day here is how you choose water here: blue bottle caps mean sparkling water, white - non-sparkling (green ones mean something in between).

Be careful with that. Visas (apart from tourist visas) can be limited to the country you are in, and does not allow you to enter other countries despite there being no border checks. Make sure to check what your visa really enables you to do, before you run into unwanted trouble.

Hello Mambuuq, I'm not sure to be honest with you. However if you got the train from Poland into Germany there were no checks. It was like we were still in Poland once we got to Berlin. You will need a negative test to enter hotels and shopping centres. Hope this helps! :)

Thanks for watching! Yeah the train was a very good one with the restaurant to get food as well which was good! Not sure if there were options for private rooms but we had our cabin free for at least half the train ride so it wasn't too busy. This was 7 months ago though so not sure if it would be getting busier now :) good luck with your trip!

I can't find your other comment but there's no need to have a passport. You do need to show the train conductor I.D though, however this could just be a driver's license. As Poland is in the EU it's pretty much open borders between them and Germany. So there's no security checks, passport control etc. This is why we like the train so much more than flying when in Europe! :)

We went to quite a few cities in Poland but sadly only Kyiv and Lviv in Ukraine. We will need to return to Ukraine soon! I am trying to learn some Turkish and wow, it is very difficult.
