We can’t get enough of this beautiful, calming room transformation. Ro’s mom dreamed of a comfy space to enjoy her hobbies - crafting, sewing, Zoom-ing with friends & family, and had only one little request… turtles! We knew Mia wanted some color to brighten up the room, so we incorporated green & blush tones to give a breezy, earthy feel, along with printed wallpaper to create a bold statement wall. Instead of the “Ro Living” cardboard window cover (😂), we brought in some flowy drapes to add privacy and color. We always try to repurpose household items when we can, and luckily the bed-frame & side tables from Ro & Mike’s previous bedroom perfectly fit into this room transformation. Last, but not least, we added the most fitting turtle-shaped catch all to the desk to pull together the space for Mama Mia. It’s the little details that make a space feel personal! Fingers-crossed that Mama Mia comes to visit California more now that she has her own dreamy oasis!

When Mama said she liked turtles, I immediately thought of a costal theme with blues, watery greens, beach glass, shiplap and soft coral. Your take was much more understated, but works beautifully with the rest of the home. Does Mama have an ensuite and walk-in closet as well? A quiet sitting area all to herself when she can make tea and relax? That's what would keep me coming back :)
