Sana magkaron Ng annual choral festival sa Pilipinas. Lahat Ng mga choral groups sa buong bansa Ang sasali at I broadcast sa tv or internet. Nakakamiss making sa mga lumang awiting Pilipino.
Meron naman, NAMCYA- National Musical Competition for Young Artist. Yun nga lang hindi nabobroadcast sa TV at sa internet. Yung National Championship nito sa CCP pa ginaganap. Lupet talaga pero yun nga hindi nabobroadcast.
It just feels different when the singers understand the lyrics. Foreign choirs are also good but it just hits different when the words are subconsciously emphasized.
This number is great. But two things about this video are very bothersome: (a) the panning camera. Why can't the camera person stay still and refrain from panning needlessly?; and (b) the audience member who kept coughing loudly at the most critical parts of the song. If you have a cough, the last thing you'd want to be in is a choir concert because you will be ruining the experience for everyone.
On the panning issue you found "very bothersome," I'm guessing the cameraman-who happened to be nice enough to volunteer, and record the event freely (no charge or anything in return,)-wanted to get a closer view of the singers for them to be individually recognized, among other things. I suppose they could have done it better, but I personally find it extremely boring when the cam just stays still-but that's just me. I do agree with striving to keep all noise to a minimum. Anyway, thanks for the 'suggestions.' :D
