      I will give it a try and let you know how it worked. Understandably, you ended losing that game. I think we tend to analyze these gambits on a sort of shallow level, we see that one side is kind of winning against the most played moves in the database, and we see oh that is easily winning and then we get the position in a game, and to our surprise we end up losing it. I think this is mainly because we neglect analyzing the Middlegames arising from these positions, and often we will need to know a certain manœuvre which consolidates our position and secures the win, which we might not find over the board especially in blitz.     I have just watched your video and trapped 2300 opponent in beavers gambit in 1st game played right after that. Now I am kinda thinking to switch my repertoire from morra to alapin. Thanks for the interesting idea!

      It means that ImprovingEveryday2 used the lichess engine in that exact same position while playing the game.

      Maybe he was analysing some positions before the game and left the window open? Sounds weird that you challenge a streamer and then you cheat...

      Probably not because f6? It looks natural because it defends e5 once the bishop is driven off

    Omg, I started laughing uncontrollably at "You mess with the Beaver and you get the teeth!!! As they say.." I just couldn't take it. It was just one of the most absurd utterances in the history of the English language, and I love absurdity. Keep up the great work Jonathan Schrantz! You're the man!!!!

    g6 was the only move I looked at, but it was only because jonathan first showed the line where black took QxRa1 straight away and g6 seemed like the only way to stop the complications afterwards. I assume that's why everybody in the chat saw it as well.

    these gambits that you invent are actually mistakes if the opponent plays perfectly but against humans your gambits are amazing cuz its extremely likely that the opponent will make one mistake and lose the game

      @@veni1 Engines still think that taking is the best option and white is an idiot for playing it. "Good" is only for when the gambit is one of the best options, and when the evaluation drops by more than 1 point the engine clearly doesn't think it's "good". All gambits except the ones i named rely on the human opponent's flawed nature

      @@veni1 You are comparing two engines, one of which was definitively proven to be stronger. Also, when an engine is only winning or drawing "sometimes" with an opening as WHITE, that's meaningless. That's like saying that the Italian Game is trash because you used it and lost to some dude once
