I like it too, wow it looks like they had power back then, but I'm a Queen of Mimosa living too and need to go out and will need the car this evening and Im a little of sorts with the world of witchcraft and petty crafty intrigue and am a little tired, but need witty words of wisdom! And as for showers, I shower 10 times a day to 7 times a day, and will I go to the fort or the palace or park to have him romantically.
So let me get this straight. The hotel was sold to Sable, but the land was sold to Dex and the land included Alexis' hotel suite at The Carlton? How exactly does one do that in a real estate transaction?
I see why Alexis will always keep a candle burning for Blake. Blake would never play these kind of games with her. Either Alexis will do things his way, or she will pack her shit and roll. That is the kind of man Alexis has respect for.
Saying that Blake was a violent man when she was a witness at his trial is one of few examples of her being genuine. She was 17 when she married Blake. I can’t believe Krystal is the first woman Blake raped. He is truly a violent man, in fact a murderer. This doesn’t excuse Alexis by any means, but her tangle with Blake is not her pulling pig tales for attention.
S A - yeah, I liked how she “stood” next to Cecil Colby - marrying him on his death bed in the hospital. She married Colby for money & power and was up front and proud of it. Kudos to her. Alexis did exactly what Cecil wanted - for her to continue the fight against Blake with his money. Also, Alexis usually wasn’t standing up to men, but lying down with them 🤭
Because Alexis has no roots; she's a wanderer, a traveler, a vagrant, she always has been. She spent 16 years in exile after divorcing Blake, going from hotel to hotel. I think the only place she has ever wanted to settle down was Blake's mansion, but sadly, she could never accomplish that (when she came back, she could only get as far as her old art studio; and though she may have gotten the mansion in Season 6, but she lost it the following year; she just could never keep it).
The producers made a desperate effort to save the show. Just 3 years after being the #1 show, Dynasty was in dire straights. Revenue had declined so much that two of its biggest stars (Linda Evans & Joan Collins) were limited to appearing in just a few episodes. The writing seemed to improve (hard to be worse than the two prior seasons), but even that did nothing to stop the dive in ratings. The show - an iconic ratings giant of the early to mid ‘80s - would be cancelled in embarrassing fashion at the end of season 9.
Dusk Hollow I’m reading that they moved it from Wednesday to Thursday. The way this season ended so abruptly was dreadful. Luckily they tied most of the loose ends in the Reunion. But they needed more seasons with Sable.
Not Dex slammed the door open 🤣 iconic 😂😂😂
“Please, slamm the door on your way out “ gold
Dex and Alexis are fighting. It must be a Tuesday....
Or any other day ending in a Y.
Wednesday actually! lol
Today Is Tuesday Actually,LOL!!! 😆🤣😂
I love how she goes
“ when will i learn ?!” Every man i ever loved has turned around and stabbed me in the back “
Alexis was so upset with Dexter! Dex said it right, Alexis didnt care who the buyer of the Carlton hotel was, as long as they came up with the cash!
I like her cigarette lighter. It looks like a perfume bottle.

Now Alexis knows knows how Blake and Krystal felt when she threw them out of the mansion 😄
That lighter is sick. Even innocuous set dressing is classy on this show, I can't 😅
Oh there's Alexis, throwing beautiful vases and tchotchkes again.
looks like foreplay to me....

One that works in "Soap World" so that the writers have an excuse to keep Alexis and Sable within close proximity of each other. XD
everyone in Alexis' way (as she perceives it from moment to moment), has so much self-control when dealing with her.
Alexis never deserved Dex.
I don't need your charity 😆😆🤣

Thomas Burr Blake screwed her worse than Dexter ever did...and I mean that figuratively, not literally.
Plus he has a mansion, money, and a wife to harass...

I’ll call you back later my ex wife is throwing things at me
I Love Dynasty ❤
I love the way she stands up to men
Lol. Yea. Because she's a helpless victim that doesn't use men at her disposal.

she was in the wrong
Dex And Alexis were good actors
Well-acted drivel.
The best
Lol the story at that point was dictated by the sets available
Why is Alexis staying at hotels if she's rich? Wouldn't she have a $2.5 million home with a hot tub or something? lol

Miss Mean
Lol. Alexis with the biggest mullet wig of the 80s! Her style was great and sharp in the beginning, here it was borderline tacky.
AAAA.....
Horrible season.

@Dusk Hollow Agreed. The writing was so much better here.
