Hey man - really cool idea you've brought to life. How deep has it taken you guys? I was thinking that in theory the longer the rope between the ring and the boat, the deeper you can go... Are you guys freedivers unafraid of going pretty deep?
correct. the longer the rope, the deeper you go. you will reach 20 meters very quickly the only challenge being equalization as it takes some skill to keep the wing stable with just one hand... some people can equalize without squeezing the nose, in which case its very easy.
Wooow that sounds absolutely awesome man. Maybe getting a big solid noseclip that really clamps down on your nose (like the pro freedivers use) could do the trick? You can push air out of your nose to equalise without using your hands there. Do you only do it in open ocean? or have you done it closer to the coast where you can really fly along, 20m underwater, not far about the sea floor?

nose clip does not really work as you also need to push air form the nose into the mask to equalize the mask...
would goggles be OK at this depth? and is 20m the deepest youve gone?
