You can tell the Water Lily Siren was the first boss they made for this game because of how intuitive she is, how fluid her animation is, and just how alive she is compared to the others.

It's actually a pretty clever design choice. Real-life coral is actually a frail polyp that creates and lives inside an exoskeleton out of minerals. The exoskeleton is the part that we see. That's exactly what you can see with Coral Siren.
Always thought she was more cute than anything. Every other character I could see as "Sexy" like that Bat chick but I get angry everytime my friend tries to lewd em.
I love the characters' design since each of them are just lovely in their own special way. This should be made into an anime already like give the people what they want, I'm also positive if they make a great story out of it that will rack in way more money and make the games even more popular. Add in some merchandise and boom!
I'd personally love to see a cartoon, or anime based off this franchise. It was apparently made by the same people who made Adventure Time, so I know an animated television series based off this series would be very fun to watch, all the meanwhile being interesting.
For the OctoSiren, you can use the Seer Dance to reveal the order, and the Lightning dance to disable all the cannons. For the Drill Siren, you can jump over her fire wave attack if you haven't been digging up the spots, and bludgeon her to death with your hair.

I don't know about you, but my favorite parts were the animated cutscenes! Apparently all the cutscenes that look like that were animated by people from Studio TRIGGER, and I absolutely love it.
You forgot the fire siren. You know the one whose voice yells so loud it makes the in game music and audio near indecipherable... *WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO!*
Onlookers questioned whether it was salt water or sweat the slid down the feared forehead of the Queen of the Seven Seas. Her crew stretched thin reconstructing the Empress Siren's airship, Risky Boots knew well that she'd not overwhelm the heroic half genie with shear numbers. The purple-haired protagonist's neck brandished no trace of tiring as she whipped her hair back and forth. As the last of the pirate's loyal henchmen fell before her and having already shot forward a few times as her in-game, pistol pattern allowed, Risky realized she was swiftly running out of options. While she was no stranger to skirmishes, she was even more familiar with her trusted opponent, Shantae. The ensuing scrap was far from their first fight. It wasn't even their first fight on the island which is ridiculous when you consider that this game doesn't really occur over a long period of time, but I digress... No living soul knows if the Pirate Queen was the type to cherish concepts such as hope. Victory had been nothing but denied until the scimitars orbiting the dancing dogooder had vanished. As if by magic, or lack of... Memories of the genie runt lavishly unleashing her on Flamethrower™ spell which is kind of garbage considering you're hitting with a barrage of 2 damage. I mean come on! Regardless, it was then that she realized her crew members defeat was not in vain. Their sacrifice had paved the way for the victory of the self-proclaimed queen. With her bravado restored and the Shantae Battle bgm™ raging ever so epically, Risky Boots let out her iconic haughty laugh and charged forward. Some say Risky's gamble was risky indeed, others asked, "Can we please get some animated hentai of Sky? The other three main girls have gotten enough attention." Shantae was momentarily taken aback by her rival's reckless resolve. Unsure if direct contact with rogue would cause 4 or even possibly 8 damage, the half-genie hero began to seriously regret purchasing Flamethrower™, but met the occasion with her usual tenacity. What became of Risky's run, and the potential jump that follows, would be left to chance. So... yeah, running at a character is pretty silly...
@@robertmoore8571 This is one of the best things I have read. You should have also included a little something about Shantae being to hide against the walls to avoid pretty much 50% of Risky's attacks, and Risky even turning her back to her.
Funny enough. I'm not even subbed to this channel and yet I still got recommended this spoiler of a video. No, I wasn't spoiled by the video literally, but the thumbnail just like most of this channels videos tend to do. If you are extremely sensitive to spoilers, unsubscribe from this channel because every thumbnail reveals the final boss of every franchise this person covers. Again, I'm not even subscribed. I looked up a non spoiler review to see of I'd purchase this game, and this video was in the recommended of my home page for youtube immediately afterwards. I've been spoiled by this channel numerous times despite my best efforts to avoid it due to how awful the algorithm is on this site, but I still implore you people who hate spoilers to avoid this channel.
Shantae is so lucky, that the studio named Studio Trigger (Aka the studio that animated BNA, Kill la Kill, Darling in the Franxx, Gurren Lagann and much more) made an opening for the game.
For anyone trying to get the fast 100 percent run; you do not need to collect all of the cards. Just get all of the heart squids, abilities and nuggets.
Shantae not only was featured as a dlc character for blaster master zero... But the switch port of half genie hero gave her a sophia iii tank transformation. Yes you are hearing me correctly shantae turning into a FREAKING TANK.
Yep, and when combine that with how her competency just goes out the window with this one (HOW could she possibly think that letting Empress Siren drain her life force would benefit her in ANY way!?), it really feels (at least to me) that she should either be given some kind of break in the next game, or else be overthrown by her own Tinkerbats; maybe _they'll_ do a better job than she did in this game...

GUYS LOOK! HE USED MIRROR SHIELD AT 28:13 ! Anybody else besides me and Prosafia use it for pretty much all projectile-based bosses including Risky? Y’know, cause using it at close (Risky) or long (Risky and Empress) not counting if they teleport or move, gets rid of them faster. (And cause most of the game is projectile based) Here’s a tip if you haven’t figured it out yet: While you’re using Gastro Drill, the enemies in the dirt can be taken out by using Pike Balls, Scimitar, and just ramming into them with the drill part of the transformation.
Currently going crazy trying to find both the last nugget and heart squid; I hope they didn’t become unobtainable, I’m trying to knock squid savior off the trophy list early
I know the scientist will hand over nuggets you might have missed in the center, not sure about squids. But yeah, 100%ing this one was a bit of a pain. I'm dreading doing it while going for the speed run trophy...
It's impossible to tell where Anglerfish Siren's “””leg””” ends and where her upper body starts, and that's really throwing me off. Then again, a majority of these designs are kind of questionable anyway, although it makes sense when you remember they're Sirens (which lure in victims with their appearance in order to kill).

Onlookers questioned whether it was salt water or sweat the slid down the feared forehead of the Queen of the Seven Seas. Her crew stretched thin reconstructing the Empress Siren's airship, Risky Boots knew well that she'd not overwhelm the heroic half genie with shear numbers. The purple-haired protagonist's neck brandished no trace of tiring as she whipped her hair back and forth. As the last of the pirate's loyal henchmen fell before her and having already shot forward a few times as her in-game, pistol pattern allowed, Risky realized she was swiftly running out of options. While she was no stranger to skirmishes, she was even more familiar with her trusted opponent, Shantae. The ensuing scrap was far from their first fight. It wasn't even their first fight on the island which is ridiculous when you consider that this game doesn't really occur over a long period of time, but I digress... No living soul knows if the Pirate Queen was the type to cherish concepts such as hope. Victory had been nothing but denied until the scimitars orbiting the dancing dogooder had vanished. As if by magic, or lack of... Memories of the genie runt lavishly unleashing her on Flamethrower™ spell which is kind of garbage considering you're hitting with a barrage of 2 damage. I mean come on! Regardless, it was then that she realized her crew members defeat was not in vain. Their sacrifice had paved the way for the victory of the self-proclaimed queen. With her bravado restored and the Shantae Battle bgm™ raging ever so epically, Risky Boots let out her iconic haughty laugh and charged forward. Some say Risky's gamble was risky indeed, others asked, "Can we please get some animated hentai of Sky? The other three main girls have gotten enough attention." Shantae was momentarily taken aback by her rival's reckless resolve. Unsure if direct contact with rogue would cause 4 or even possibly 8 damage, the half-genie hero began to seriously regret purchasing Flamethrower™, but met the occasion with her usual tenacity. What became of Risky's run, and the potential jump that follows, would be left to chance.
So... yeah, running at a character is pretty silly...

@@robertmoore8571 This is one of the best things I have read. You should have also included a little something about Shantae being to hide against the walls to avoid pretty much 50% of Risky's attacks, and Risky even turning her back to her.

Again, I'm not even subscribed. I looked up a non spoiler review to see of I'd purchase this game, and this video was in the recommended of my home page for youtube immediately afterwards. I've been spoiled by this channel numerous times despite my best efforts to avoid it due to how awful the algorithm is on this site, but I still implore you people who hate spoilers to avoid this channel.

Shantae not only was featured as a dlc character for blaster master zero... But the switch port of half genie hero gave her a sophia iii tank transformation. Yes you are hearing me correctly shantae turning into a FREAKING TANK.
It's so strange seeing Risky reduced to a mid-boss when she was the final enemy of the very first game...
Yep, and when combine that with how her competency just goes out the window with this one (HOW could she possibly think that letting Empress Siren drain her life force would benefit her in ANY way!?), it really feels (at least to me) that she should either be given some kind of break in the next game, or else be overthrown by her own Tinkerbats; maybe _they'll_ do a better job than she did in this game...

To be fair at least did Risky build in a back up plan into her over all plan by insuring that Shantae her self would remain free and could save her if things should start to go south.
And obviously for using Rotty to weaken the Empress so that she could still be defeated.

To be fair the betray happens over the course of like 3 sentences in which the Empress casually sucked Ricky's life out there wasn't a lot she could have done with how fast things were happening.
@@rynobehnke8289 I'm pretty sure there's a 5-second pause after the Empress first says she has "a better idea" while she slowly drags herself over to Risky at 1 mile an hour... if it weren't for Risky being so overconfident I wouldn't see any reason why she wouldn't have reacted to the Empress crawling _towards_ her instead of away from her like she'd initially planned.
I know that the water lily siren is like one of the first siren boss fights you have to deal with, but she looks like an alraune.

GUYS LOOK! HE USED MIRROR SHIELD AT 28:13 ! Anybody else besides me and Prosafia use it for pretty much all projectile-based bosses including Risky? Y’know, cause using it at close (Risky) or long (Risky and Empress) not counting if they teleport or move, gets rid of them faster. (And cause most of the game is projectile based) Here’s a tip if you haven’t figured it out yet: While you’re using Gastro Drill, the enemies in the dirt can be taken out by using Pike Balls, Scimitar, and just ramming into them with the drill part of the transformation.
This is why Shantae should be in Smash there is clearly potential for a great moveset

It's impossible to tell where Anglerfish Siren's “””leg””” ends and where her upper body starts, and that's really throwing me off.
Then again, a majority of these designs are kind of questionable anyway, although it makes sense when you remember they're Sirens (which lure in victims with their appearance in order to kill).
