Yanguire is the same but instead of obsessed for love is for other things like family or possessions. It is sad that when people hear yandere they think of stabby stab only tho, like there are so many more possibilities :(

This mod is incredibly entertaining, I audibly gasped at each scene. I appreciate the dedication of having every character have something to say about Elliott's death, and slightly changing some dialogues like the marriage request and WHOLE scene's like the cheating one, is VERY impressive. I think it would be hard to get rid entirely of Elliott, that's why you still see him walking around, but overall, this mod blow's every other Yandere mod out of water XD

However I kinda have a bit of a nitpick about this mod, which is the dialogue options. I don’t know why but they kinda read strangely.
a yandere writer is a brilliant idea. im a (sorta) writer and i know i can write pretty weird and scary stuff like those disturbing letters without having to put mucho effort, even if im not really feeling it, but a writer who really feel that kind of love, they can make really messed up writings for sure.
It was fucking terrifying, but compliments well the original Elliot. He looks like he has a secret... or a hundred of dead spouses in the sand under his cabin....

Im not sure if thatd be an easier patch than removing him completely but it adds to the intensity of the mod i think. I don't think it's the wizards fault though; Elliot was just too yandere to stop stalking the farmer even in death.
tbh... I REALLY like what the creator did. She used Elliot's skillset and made a believable scenario of a writer gone mad and madly inlove to the point of obsession. Like it's the yandere stuff on top of what we already know of Elliot. I remember the Seb Yan mod made me scared. Shane, not too much (he's possessive af, but not yandere imo. IDk I guess we didn't see other yandere traits). But this one, ooohohohoho. I wish we got to see more villager reactions, but I guess I'll have to download the mod for a playthrough just to see what happens. (I'll have to learn how to uninstall since I don't want ANOTHER Elliot creepy mail when I'm trying to do a speed run or something... though for speedrunners/content creators, it would be HILARIOUS if they just had those in the background or something while pretending to ignore it.) Fortunately for them, they didn't do a Leah one because that would require more visual assets.

ok the stereotypical yandere trope is not really my cup of tea but if you're gonna label something as a "yandere mod" it should aim to be like this, the other ones shown on this channel don't really feel unsettling like this one, not to say they're bad, but they don't really have as much of the vibe and it feel more like a flat dialogue change. this mod unexpectedly has me pumped because (in my personal little opinion) this feels more "realistic" to how a yandere character would act. Props to the mod maker, it's really well done

yo I saw another commenter mention it but this mod also changes his schedule, so at least a couple of days out of the week before marriage he just STANDS AT THE ENTRANCE TO YOUR FARM and watches you. If you go talk to him, he'll say he's "enjoying the scenery". I was checking the map for him to give him a present and the horror was real when mans was right outside my house 🤐

I can see the fear behind the obsessive behavior, and it's so terribly sad. And it feeds on itself, the fear of being abandoned causes the negative behavior, and then that behavior causes abandonment, which reinforces the fear.

Note: Most Yandere mods have the character only start being yandere-y after a couple of hearts. Remember, commonly, Yandere’s are people who will know everything about you and obsess over BEFORE YOU EVEN KNOW THEM. Either that or you have little interaction with that person. Yandere’s get obsessive quickly depending on how the writer writes them, but it is common for the yandere character to be newly introduced and go obsessive quickly within a few chapters or pages.
First time I saw this mod I thought ''Oh ok.. That's not so bad yandere wise..?'' and sure I saw the red flags especially after seeing the bad ending route. But the thing is, I was not aware of the god damn letters. BOY HAVE I FELT IMMENSE FEAR UPON READING THOSE LETTERS and then everything made a whole lot more sense.

ok the stereotypical yandere trope is not really my cup of tea but if you're gonna label something as a "yandere mod" it should aim to be like this, the other ones shown on this channel don't really feel unsettling like this one, not to say they're bad, but they don't really have as much of the vibe and it feel more like a flat dialogue change. this mod unexpectedly has me pumped because (in my personal little opinion) this feels more "realistic" to how a yandere character would act. Props to the mod maker, it's really well done

while all the other mods play into the stereotypical anime yandere trope too much, this mod actually provides a realistic depiction of an obsessive stalker. it's actually really impressive, the writer has definitely looked into psychology and philosophy a few times.

yo I saw another commenter mention it but this mod also changes his schedule, so at least a couple of days out of the week before marriage he just STANDS AT THE ENTRANCE TO YOUR FARM and watches you. If you go talk to him, he'll say he's "enjoying the scenery". I was checking the map for him to give him a present and the horror was real when mans was right outside my house 🤐

Hey, me too. I guess that's why I took pity on him. He's just terrified of being abandoned again. No one is born with BPD, it's developed through experiencing abuse and/or neglect. I can see the fear behind the obsessive behavior, and it's so terribly sad. And it feeds on itself, the fear of being abandoned causes the negative behavior, and then that behavior causes abandonment, which reinforces the fear.

Note:
Most Yandere mods have the character only start being yandere-y after a couple of hearts. Remember, commonly, Yandere’s are people who will know everything about you and obsess over BEFORE YOU EVEN KNOW THEM. Either that or you have little interaction with that person. Yandere’s get obsessive quickly depending on how the writer writes them, but it is common for the yandere character to be newly introduced and go obsessive quickly within a few chapters or pages.
First time I saw this mod I thought ''Oh ok.. That's not so bad yandere wise..?'' and sure I saw the red flags especially after seeing the bad ending route. But the thing is, I was not aware of the god damn letters.
BOY HAVE I FELT IMMENSE FEAR UPON READING THOSE LETTERS and then everything made a whole lot more sense.
