Lonnie, thank you so much for making and posting these videos. It helped a lot to refresh our memories after taking a tour of the campus. Your humor also convinced my son that he could be happy/comfortable here. :-)
Hey, I came by the Embry-Riddle campus in Daytona and you were my family and I’s amazing tour guide lol. I’ve finally gotten my acceptance letters and am super excited to be apart of Embry-Riddle’s great curriculum. I remember you were giving us really great advice ways that could help us out financially on our journey with Embry Riddle. If I’m not mistaken you told us about a $1,000 alumni scholarship which would be really helpful right about now lol. Do you mind giving me information on where I could possibly find that scholarship and your email so I could apply for it?
Hi!! I’m planning on attending ERAU in Fall of 2023! I think I heard it stated, but I’m not quite sure (I couldn’t find it on the site, I will be looking at it again soon). Is this residency hall open for freshmen?
Hi, I have been accepted and wish to attend ERAU Fall 2020. I want to go into AFROTC and was told about the dorm recommended for students in the program, which was Doolittle. However, I noticed on the website that Doolittle was going to be for second-year students starting Fall 2020. Since the option is out, which dorm is recommended for ROTC first-years?
Hey there! I know you posted this a while ago but hopefully a late answer is better than none. I did AFROTC this year at ERAU while living in New Res 1 and I personally have no complaints about it, all the dorm buildings are relatively close to one another so distance and time isn't really an issue (unless you're in the Student Village and have an extra 5-10 minute walk). Yes they have changed Doolittle to a Sophomore dorm (sighs from my class in the distance) and I believe all freshmen are in either New Res 1 or 2 this upcoming semester. Honestly all dorms are fine for ROTC students however for first years I would recommend New Res 1 and 2 or Doolittle because they are the closest to the places you will need to get to. More so than the building you are in though, I would recommend you try to have at least one ROTC roommate/suitemate. None of my suitemates did ROTC this past year and it made it really tough with waking up and getting out on time and without causing noise. I get up early normally but after an exhausting day or just no sleep I would struggle to wake up in time and didn't have the opportunities for a suitemate to wake me up- so if I did not wake up to my alarm... I was kinda screwed. Also there were a few times I woke up my roommate on accident which is never fun. Hope this helps!
when i visited in January 2017, they took us to the freshmen residence hall and it was VERY run-down. The walls looked like the walls in a cheap motel from a 1960 movie. Is this new residence hall for everyone or only the upper class?
I know I'm a whole year late 😅 but not on campus. You can get off campus housing for your soph, junior, and senior year. But on campus, there aren't any individual rooms, you have to have at least one roommate. However, if you are able to apply quick, you may be able to choose the roommate.
Something else I was wondering. I understand that your 172s have Garmin 1000. What avionics do your Arrows have? All steam, all glass, or a combination?
jstrahan2 I questioned how that comment would go down... cough but I'm glad you took it well. I spent some time at riddle and had some good experiences. I got my instrument rating in full there. This place will give you good training but the question is will it give you your bang for your buck compared to another place. It just depends on if you are willing to fork over the funds for your child. If you are then I say go for it but if it will be detrimental to your family and estate I would think twice.
"On the run from the Mafia" that had me laughing lol. Cant wait to go to Embry Riddle!!!

“New Residence Hall” is the actual name of this Building?
How much would you need to donate for them to consider you serious?
Not much. Just wondering what the minimum would be.
you could start a GoFundMe
I've been thinking about joining ERAU for some time now

Great video man. Quick question, can students live off campus after freshman year?

Hey!! Which is the best Embry Riddle campus?
Probably Daytona
@@evanbradley2790 is Prescott bad?
Is there a way to transfer to Daytona ?
I’m trying to figure out which residence I want to live in, is this residence hall 1 or two? And also is there a difference in suite vs regular dorm?
I got in! One question though... Are any gaming devices allowed and are freshmen allowed to go to the gym?
LonnieIIV Thanks
@@LonnieIIV Are you allowed to bring in a joystick for flight simulators? Also, after your first year, can you live outside of campus?
How much are the dorms for students? And did scholarships cover the cost? So they're basically free for one?
Hi is it possible to transfer from Prescott?
My daughter is entering this fall. Is this a co-ed dorm? If so, how are the females 'protected'?
Great to hear. Now, if you can suggest ways for ER to not send me to the poorhouse, I'm listening.
