Very good video n i enjoy how it tries to get more people to play (thank you), but did miss/not cover some things like brokercoins (the donation system) and scythe being one of two phighters that use she/her pronouns instead of he/him. i've thought about matchmaking a lot but the one thing that stops me from doing it is the appeal of just being able to hop into a game quickly, but i'll think about a good solution when it comes to comp and pro servers
i am extremely grateful for all the composers we have for the game because we would be no where close to where we are today without them

i think my favorite thing about phighting is just how it’s filled to the brim with character. From the dialogue between phighters to just the fluidity of the user interfaces, everything feels alive and has its own identity, in my opinion it really pulls you into the world of the game, which is something not many roblox games that i see do.
Fr even Valk and Dom which btw are characters b4 the game starts have good dialogue
Phun phact: At 4:18 he mentions how 3 characters are based on roblox gears, However if you do some research, Every single class seems to be based on a roblox gear.

Though, I'd like to correct some things said in the video just to clear up some confusion
1. Sword, Slingshot and Rocket aren't the only classes who are based on gears; every character is!
(Ex: Subspace is based on The Subspace Tripmine, and Shuriken is based on The Silver Ninja Star)
2. Bux aren't purchasable. You can only obtain them by playing the game. The only way to support the developers is by purchasing Brokercoins, which are just donations!! (and the UGC of course!!)
3. Scythe uses She/Her
i think one of the dev said all phighters use any pronouns iirc ??? she/her is just prefrence , not saying youre wrong or anything just wanna correct you abit , other than that everything in here is pretty much true
@@silliestfishy This isn't true. They just said that all Phighters are Agender. All of them have specific pronouns they use. You can check the wiki to see them!!
@@Silkunii nope that isnt true, they all use any pronouns but some have preferred, devs have gone on record with characters like broker being referred to with both he and she pronouns, on the official wiki when you hover over the pronouns section on each phighter it comes up with a message that says that each phighter is agender and uses any pronouns.

I recommended this game to so many people and most of them loved it. The one problem they had was that the skill ceiling was so high for the fun characters they liked to play. They also just said that teammates were also a reason why they didn’t play way more than they actually did. Also they just said some characters just weren’t worth playing as some characters (katana, biograft for example) were just easier to play and more rewarding than some characters like skateboard. EDIT: for that last part i meant that some of them said its not worth taking the time to learn. For example it might take a katana player a few weeks to learn the character and get a lot of kills with it. But on the other hand a character like skateboard can take months to actually learn and get the same results as a katana because of how hard it is to do a lot of damage. Not saying the game is bad or anything just that it has some balancing issues. Sorry if I confused some people, I originally wrote the comment at night.

I’ve played this game for months non-stop and probably have hundreds of hours on it, and it STILL never gets old. The chaos, the little dialogue features, and the satisfaction of finally hitting some of the hardest abilities to hit in the game. I love it! The devs deserve way more credibility, fame and so much more. And thank you for making a video also sharing your love for the game. (I’m not a dev I just love this game too much LOL)
1:49 there's only 3 Phighting devs, Aidn doin the programming and Pix doin the animation, then Soda joined for character designs and modeling, everyone else are usually contributors like Crablooshi and Eggo makin music or Xtriel and Danccie helping in makin maps
the devs already stated they aren't plannin on extending like the ownership and stuff iirc in a QnA

Phighting would have a few more players rn but we have been dry on updates. That’s a good thing though bc the devs have been COOKING (event from the 13th to the 21st along with a plushie and even bigger updates after that)
I agree but I don't think it needs many updates, but they do also make a lot of small changes and bug fixes.

This game means so much to me, this video is really well put together and i'm glad more people are seeing how crazily underrated this game is.
one thing that I noticed is that you only said a few specific phighters are based on roblox gears, when actually every single major character in the game is assigned a gear that they have from roblox itself, like as a canonical thing in lore that is required for each character is a gear.
I think the reason I love Phighting is the same reason I love Splatoon. It has its own unique music style, world building, character detail, and completely hype music

But I do have some comments:
1. That intro was pretty peak. I love your points on it! It’s a very a good opening to this video :]
2. Scythe is actually referred to as a she (no biggie lol)
3. Not only are Sword, Slingshot, and Rocket based on old Roblox weapons, pretty much all the Phighters (and all the other characters in the game) are based on some kind of classic roblox weapon/item. Almost all (if not all) the maps are also inspired by old roblox culture and history!
4. I’d say the balance is still actually quite good. In fact, they’re actively putting out balance patches to characters. However, your point on absolute Rock Paper Scissors in a team based class game doesn’t hold well entirely imo. Ofc it’s part of the essence of the type of game. However, you shouldn’t have to switch off the character you like to play just cause you’re getting counterpicked hard, as if it’s your only option left. However, I believe Phighting deals with this issue well. If you get good enough at a certain Phighter, you’ll be able to deal with their counterpicks well enough! (tho idk fully since I don’t play all the classes)
5. YES THE MUSIC LOL, nice mention hehe >:]
6. I love how they added and contextualized Dom and Valks voices in those certain soundtracks, literally genius haha ;D
7. Yes, I agree. People should absolutely play this game moree lol
8. Here are some extra things I love about Phighting that are worth mentioning. One is that, joining a match is mega fast. It’s not like Overwatch or TF2 where you have to wait a long time to find a server, and the server might not even be full. I’ve been able to quickly join matches that are always fully filled.
8. Man, you should’ve added the new crossroads map teaser into this video. That teaser actively made me think “how is this fudging Roblox????”. If you don’t know about it, look it up hehe. You should follow their updates too, absolutely!!

Thank god someone talked about the music! It’s honestly one of my top 5 OSTs ever and every song simply goes insane. On top of that, they consistently release new music every month or so, especially before or during phestivals and phrenzies!
Im seriously scared that the game gets bought by gamefam or something like that and becomes a game where everything is a lootbox and even playing as characters is locked behind levels or money

Literally found out about this game after the goofy spotify AI DJ recommended a song from its soundtrack to me. Went down a rabbit hole listening to all the music and only found out it was actually from a game after seeing that there were multiple volumes all under the title PHIGHTING!

My friend turned me onto this game and I can't stop playing. I too have wondered about why phighting isn't more popular, its such a good game- and I've been thinking that a video like this needs to be created. The word needs to spread, people need to play this game more. I think an issue phighting has being such an underrated game is that a good chunk of the players are pros, people who are good at the game. Its hard to get into a game where you're up against people so much stronger and capable than you. When I first started playing phighting, I only played when my pro friend was online. Because I had a blast being on the same team. But when we were on opposite teams, I dreaded the slaughter that was about to befall me. The game does have pro servers, but they are rarely utilized. I don't know why that is, or what can be done to get the more experienced players into pro servers so that the open servers are more balanced with newcomers, but that's one theory I have as to why phighting isn't more mainstream. People join for the first time, they don't get the hang of things immediately, they die alot, and they leave. At least, thats how I was initially. But now I've been playing for a couple months, and I can comfortably get MVPs depending on gamemode and teammates, the game is SO SO SO fun. Can't stop playing.
Really appreciated seeing a video like this. I've been GENUINELY considering making a yt channel based around phighting content JUST to give this beautiful game exposure. Glad to see its already happening.
The bad thing is sometimes I’m not playing with friends and go to a “random” server with a bunch of good players (keep in mind I’m very new and am still learning how to play) than compliment the people playing for their skill, than some random guy says “tHaN WhY r U pLaYiNg On A pRo SeRvEr”

I started playing Phighting after i discovered one of the soundtracks, really liked it, and naturally I was a bit curious to check if it's just a soundtrack or is it a soundtrack for a game, I'm really glad youtube reccomended it to me, and now I can play some of this chaotic masterpiece
i listened to 5 hours of phighting osts straightforward, no breaks, and i think it mentally scarred me but it was worth it
I have QUITE a few friends who love phighting, but... NGL, I've been between scared to go back and actually play it (though from what my friend yapped about, the lore is FANTASTIC!!) and I've been waiting for a chance to play it together irl WITH said friend.. I'm thinking about going back and actually playing it LMAO. It seems so fun. Also spotify reccomended me a bunch of the phighting sound track songs so I already know its pretty good if it has a good sound track. I played it once just running around the lobby, and that on its own was pretty nice. I like that theres dialog for the npcs with the skins that you buy them from. Thats so cool, anyway I'm gonna go actually play it. I might melt amongst the people who are really good at the game and at pvp but its fine.

I was introduced to Phighting like 2 months ago and I'm around level 56 now, the game has left me addicted.
my only gripe is the time to kill😭 15 direct shots and your enemy is still alive, even if they have no healing
some characters have insane self sustain tho.
I have to agree with the chaotic balancing of the game making it fun. During my time playing Biograft, I found out you can gravitate yourself towards an enemy once hitting your Q ability. And holy, the range at which you can activate it is INSANE.

Here are some comments I made to your video:
4:24 Most Phighter are based of OG roblox. You forgot Skateboard, Banhammer Hyperlaser and Medkit. These are named after OG items as well.
5:29 I think perfectly balanced games are boring and not fun. Rock-Paper-Scisor and Risk/Reward balancing is more fun. The only problem pfighter is Skateboard since it has the least counterplay out of all phighters (Even though Hyperlaser is a sniper and has a tendency to camp, you can easily attack and kill him due to his bad mobility and bad defense).

One of the games this man NEEDS to play is Block Tales (if he hasn’t already.) It’s a paper Mario 64 and earthbound based game, with good animation to boot, and I have felt so many good things about it!! if you see this play block tales asap

2. Half of the combat in paper Mario (at least the actually good ones) is the guard and superguard timings so it's not like it's uninteresting

2: the entire game is based off of old Roblox and every character is based off a Roblox gear or sometimes accessories. All the maps too are based off of old Roblox games.

Phighting is one of, if not our biggest fixations in years up there next to Undertale. We cannot POSSIBLY get bored of the game especially due to its insane lore, fire updates, fire soundtrack and everything else that was put into this game. We are glad more and more people a bringing attention to this game and its people :3

I literally discovered this game solely from the soundtrack that randomly popped up in my Apple Music feed. Little did I know that the banger soundtrack would entirely carry over to the game itself.
I found this game from a collab that they did with another amazing game called “Regretevator”, I found it in April but then just quit.. then got back on it on may 11th [almost 2 months ago] and got a flipping hyper fixation or something on it. Theres other Bios in lore that are based off a different variant of the energy swords like Beta, Chi, Omega, etc
Phun Phact: a lot of the songs are also based from old songs that roblox used in the past.

-Six Feet Under is based of Monastery in Disguise.
-Great Strategy and Final Verdict are based of Great Strategy.
-Dueling Winds is a mix of the songs Darkness Dueling and Winds of Fjords.

Phighting deserves much more popularity. I just got into it the other day myself, but I like how casual the game is. A higher player count would lead to more sweats and make this casual game that I already love (and convinced 4 friends to already start playing) more difficult to get into. But it does deserve much more love.

The whole Phighting universe actually dont have any confirmed gender, they just have specific pronouns they want people to use. They also dont have any reproduction organs
They dont have genders, just preferred pronouns (although they all technically use any but just have a preference, exception is the upcoming character lord pwnatious, who only uses they/them)

man, i just finded about phighting, while trying to find a good game, i thinked this was a simple underrated game but THIS GAME AS A ENTIRE FREAKING FAMDOM AND CUMONITY

Phighting is easily one of, if not the best games on roblox. they playstyle may not appeal to some people but personally, the mix of the god tier music, chaotic but skilled gameplay and diverse maps to play on make it one of the most fun i have ever had on roblox.

I recently started playing phighting like 2 weeks ago and i actually managed to convince my brother to try it and i absolutely love the game and soundtracks because it honestly feels like the perfect phighting game i needed

Phighting is AMAZING. Only bad thing I can say is that it sometimes gets over stimulating with all the effects popping up in the screen, but other than that it’s 10/10 tbh.
