Hi, I'm Dr. Jared Nielsen. I'd like to talk to you today about six types of headache and differentiate them for our health as a discussion.
Number one, a cervicogenic, or neck related, or generated headache. Number two a blood sugar, or thyroid type headache. Number three a migraine type headache, number four vascular fragility or a protein escape headache, number five a cluster headache, and number six frontal sinus, or sinusitis related headache.
So many people suffer from headaches, and headaches really are not normal. So often I have a patient that comes in and says, "I've had normal headaches like once a day, once a week, once a month," and that really is unacceptable. Head pain and headaches really should not exist.
When we look at the differentiation of headaches the first headache that we think of is the headache that comes on as the day progresses. This is typically the headache where you feel tension in the back of the head, comes forward to the eye, and typically timing occurs in the afternoon, or as the day progresses.
Usually the hallmark of this headache is that it's resolved by rest. This is called a cervicogenic headache, or a neck generated headache. Typically the correction is simply a chiropractic adjustment, or some type of a physical therapy modality.
The second type of headache I'd like to discuss is a blood sugar imbalance, or a thyroid headache. This is differentiated typically by a headache that you wake up with. AM headaches that are relieved by eating are typically a blood sugar headache...

Very interesting about the fungal pathologies of the stomach. Conventional doctors need to receive this kind of training. They don't acknowledge it, and I think that's why millions of patients can't seem to get any relief. I think there are great doctors out there who have the answers, like Dr. Nelsen, but unfortunately these are not the doctors most Americans see.

Thanks for sharing the awesome information about types of headaches. I've been experiencing headaches for months now. I've seen doctors (Lao and French doctors) still helpless. The headaches is under control by pain killer. One of the doctors said I have blood clot, but his medication didn't work. I have no ideas what to do. I'm gonna have a good watch your videos to recognize mine one more time then I will ask you for more information maybe you can help me

You have given a very detailed explanation Dr. Thanks! My husband gets migraine headaches very often. Can usage of masks also aggravate this problem. Tough to figure out root cause. I try acupressure massages & give him Enerzol to keep the blood sugar levels in order.

Hi good information. To describe my issue, the head hurts all over top sides and back including the eyes. Certain parts of head is sore. Very excruciating. It is accompanied by neck pain and pain in the upper spine. A ct scan reveal a small sinus issue which my doctor said was not supposed to cause such bad headaches. Anh suggestions .Thanks much

Hi Dr
I have a headache for 12 days now. it started when I worked hard(drove 14 hours daily for a week) I did not slept proprely. headache started in a specific area on my left temple. my gp proscribed me migien pills pink and yellows it did not helped me .I visited her again yesterday and she gave me drug for cluster headache 12 tablets in once a day 60 gr and decrease 10 mg each 4 days. could you please help me with this matter and what you think about it please

Dr Nelson i have headaches 1- 3 experienced all at the same time I can last for days or weeks two weeks at the most then I have to get rushed to the hospital it's almost a daily accurance and it burns like hot oil on my face
