@DirtFarmerJay We are doing well, hope all is good with you guys. So far it looks like it did work. I applied two doses in two different places, no fresh dirt mounds after a few days.
Only thing I worry about any poison is what if they injest it, then before they die, my dog gets it, or if i put rat/mouse poison in our cellar, i worry about the mice eating it then coming up in the house and our cat getting it. Just had that happen with one of our cats getting a mouse in the house. I was home to get it away from her right away, so all is well, but still, is there any evidence of dogs or cats getting sick/dying from eating a poisoned animal I wonder??
Thanks for this. Because you are placing the bait in the tunnel, below the surface, it is highly unlikely there would be secondary poisoning. The gopher won't surface, they go into the burrow deeper. Does that help?
Be sure to locate an active run, near a recent (or same day) fan of excavation soil, to jump up your chance of success. Let me know how this turns out for you. best, DFJ
Thanks Jay, Aaron here in AZ, I am going to try this method.
Great to hear from you Aaron. I hope you guys are doing really well. Did it work?

Unlikely

I'll probably give this a try, I've tried the worms for moles with no luck.

@@DirtFarmerJay That's where the challenge comes in. I'll have to stomp down all the runs which there are a lot and look the next day.
Dirt Farming Gophers👍
If only there was a commercial market for them!
