      I agree that fletching with rubberized vanes can be faster. But mylar vanes like SpinWings are lighter and more consistently accurate. The tradeoff is that mylar vanes are high maintenance and take longer to fletch.

      I disagree. I use mylar vanes and can fletch in half the time that it took you to fletch an arrow.

    One good thing about spinwings is that you can do quick re fletch on the shooting range. Having no marker line on the shaft makes it so much harder to do.

      These aren't exclusive things. Ideally, you'd have spare arrows because re-fletching in the field always yields irregular angles for vanes. However, in a pinch, you can pull out a tri-liner or marking jig. I've traveled with this jig and re-did some vanes for tournaments... but a compact marking jig is fine too..
