- Welcome to Sonne Farms! On this channel we showcase numerous jobs a Corn/Soybean/Beef producing operation takes on each day. Hop in the cab or sorting alley with Cole, Brian, and Jeff, to see how life really is for the people that help feed the US and the rest of the world. In addition to Corn, Soy, and Cattle, Sonne Farms puts up grass and alfalfa and sells pure bred Black Angus Bulls in South Dakota.

Philippians 4:6 - "Worry about nothing, pray about everything. Ask God for what you need, and thank him for all he has given you."
Working with your father is such a blessing. He will teach you more in one day than you could learn from a year in a classroom. Stay safe and stay healthy. God bless
Male Female twin calves, the heifer is called a Freemartin. Because the calves share the male hormones before birth the female looks like a female but its reproduction development is messed up due to the hormones. Also the bull calf has reduced fertility.
Now that she is a heiferette will she have problems with her next prengnacy?
It generally does not effect the cow, just the calves.
That is a super cool and interesting fact! Cheers!
Makes sense
I just love listening to you and your dad go back and forth!! Keep it coming guys, these videos are great!
Love dad's sense of humor!
Hey Cole. I love your no frills video's. Great to see your cows getting on well with calving. Just love your Dads input too....oh, and Jeff gets a BIG plug too.

Love your dad's stories and jokes. You are a great son.
Thank you!
You and your dad work well together witch is great to see. You make good videos and show it as it is and that shows those people who don't get farming, or don't understand why we do what we do to feed the people of the world. Great video Cole
You two are so cute. Work so very hard, I worry about your dad and you. God bless your family.

Another great clip. Always looking forward to viewing what ever comes your way. I’m learning a lot from both of you. Even your ‘non-scientific way’ of explaining makes more sense than reading about it. Keep safe. Your respect for each other and spirited bantering makes my day. Respect to both of you.
You guys make quarantine way more entertaining! You and your Dad remind me so much of my Dad and that dry sense of humor!! You guys stay safe as well!! I hope Dad gets some blue towels too!! 😂😂😂. Much love to y’all, from our Oklahoma quarantine! 💗💗💗
Enjoy the time you have on the farm with your family. tomorrow is never promised.
Sorry to hear about school being on line, but guess for everyone's safety probably the best. I'm looking forward to more videos if you have time. Really enjoy them. Nice looking Deer hanging on the walls. Tell Your Dad he's fun to watch. Keep up the great work. Be safe.

Big time shout out to Wyffels Hybrids!!! I live in Atkinson Illinois. Bill and Bob both are awesome guys, Wyffels is a great seed corn company! You guys are doing it right planting Wyffels!
As my old man would say......., “it’s not the ones that beller and scream that scare me........, it’s the ones that sit there quietly and wait for you to get pass the point of no return that keep me up at night” LOL
Glade to see you have a Farmall on the farm
You two are fantastic. Thank you for brightening my day
Love the videos. You are your Dad really make watching fun.
As far as doing three videos but “nothings going on”, I would happily sit and listen to you guys doing taxes 😂😂 It’s a break for me to be back in the country for just a little bit after being stuck in the city for so long! Well wishes to you and the fam from American’s perched in England.
Another great video thank you love seeing the the Baby up close
Love how you guys work so well together
Great Video Cole! Stay safe!
Good video Cole & Brian yal stay safe looking good on new calves awesome !! Daniel from central Mississippi
Your Dad is awesome!
Thanks for the video nice to see you and your family
Great video guys thanks for sharing your daily joy of farm life, if it's any help to you, Dad was saying about washing his hands, it's very important to keep your hands clean, we got an air hand dryer put in it takes seconds to get your hands dry and less messy, I used alot of irondine in my parlour, for washing down the milking equipment, washing the milk holding tank, we're the girls come in the parlour standing to be milked, never ending use of it, I used it when I cut myself on things, so important to try and keep the place clean.
Really enjoyed the video - always do - have a great week !!!
I swore dad was going to ask for show-of-hands....who failed to refill TP roller in 'office'??!! lol
“Bill, nicest guy you’d wanna meet” is high praise coming from your dad- so shout out to Bill.
When you said that thing you were doing was a bit dangerous - that must mean life threatening to us regular folks, lol.
“ I’m here until I die”lol, what- did ya just figure that out? lol I can hear your dad laughing now.
Great video again boys, keep em coming and good luck with the calving , and classes.
Farming is in the blood, ask just about any farmer why they farm and they will 99% of the time say their father farmed before him
One awesome vid with some great info about calving. This is my online "learnin". Thanks, Sonne farms!
I always enjoy the Cole and Dad show!!! LMAO!
Best tractor on the farm. Even looks good
Love your vids, Cole!!! Keep ‘em coming!
You guys stay healthy too. Love your videos
so funny your Dad calling you Cole LOL . stay safe over there , good plan with cameras too
Good video! Random segments - subs love it.
I don't know if your interested in changing. But
My buddy has a huge lot and has heavy equipment. He drags his yard with a 6 foot long 3" I beam and about a 4-6 foot length or chain link fence behind that. It does an amazing job. Really levels ruts.
Certainly wet and muddy in the farm yard this time of year, calf's are tough animals to survive being born in those conditions, I like the trophy mounts hanging on the walls, must have been corn fed, stay safe and continue the farm videos
Love your dad!
Thought brian was hinting at paper towel donations 😂 wouldnt blame him with how empty the shops probably are, great video 👍
PA is a chuckle hound!
Thanks
Looks like your dad is getting a little reckless driving that ATV with you hanging on. I can see now why your dad encouraged you to continue RUclips, he seems to enjoy being in the videos more and more.
Nice looking cows and calves and thank you for the video you do a great job, more videos the better lol take care
Nice video. Thanks 😊
Cole, another great video! Just a little advice - when you do put the cameras up do not make a video showing where they are. :) Thanks for sharing.
Got that right!
@@SonneFarms Of course you could do a video but a fake video of the locations to throw people off! Looking forward to more videos and you should consider going live sometime!
I enjoyed the video-nice looking cattle.
Brain's cool, Cole keep him around.
We grow Wyfflles in southeastt Thanks for your vids . Enjoy them.
Love the videos cole
Awesome Video As Always!!!
Good stuff Cady 👍
Great content as always!
Another great video thanks for sharing
Great videos Thanks, stay safe
Love Dad
AS the song goes " Give me back that filet O fish , give me that fish, Give me back that filet O fish , give me that fish, what if it were you hanging up on this wall, if it were you in this sandwich you wouldn't be laughing at all.
*Remember this: "Elbow, elbow, wrist wrist". That's the proper parade wave, 😁😁😁!!*
Love the vids, keep it up
Love your videos. Your dad is a hoot. Lol.
Take a little time to video yourself going to on-line classes and if you get desperate for material, just follow your dad around like a puppy dog and video his every move. He's good for at least an hour or two a day!
There can never be enough brian
Great video. I was wondering if I could apply for your internship. I will bring your Dad a couple of cases of Mountain Dew and some blue rolls of shop towels.
Haha, tempting, but we aren't looking for help at the moment
@@SonneFarms Bummer I figured you would need a retired Asbestos Worker with nothing to do.
Where's your child....I hide em from you crazy humans on the 4-wheelers🤣
Haha ... looks like all of our dry spots are wet again ..hahahah
As Dr Pol here in Michigan says Don’t turn your back on an Angus Cow
I love the calving videos
Don't start liking my tractor, I plan on winning that in a few months when you hit 100,000. Love your videos keep up the good work.
You all take care now!
You guys were just all prayed up that day, weren't ya?????
It looks like you and dad had a lot of fun in this video. What is the history of that old farmhouse where the cows you dropped off?
I rented this ground for many years from Kenny and then bought it in 2015. Hence we call it Kennys.
Brian Sonne What is the history of the farmhouse? How old is it? Can you show the inside?
I think you got it backwards that’s the Kit Kat song your trying to sing lol
My son got the word that his classes will all be online as well, so he's coming home Tuesday from S.V.S.U..
Great video 👍
Hey from New Zealand
I am amazed at how similar raising show himalayan cats is to raising cattle. And treatment like iodine to the umbilical
Really like your videos. I noticed a lot of hay bales around your farm, do you end up using all of them or do you sell your excess?
We usually don't have this much hay by this time. Good year for hay. Most of the time we aren't able to sell because we need it but last year we did sell a good amount
lol Perhaps it shoulda been, 'we need to try to kick them outta the barn, without taking one on the hoof ourselves'. Nice job with saving the calves, guys. Keep up the good work.
Really good video
24 of your own cows/heifers is a great start for your age. Bet your dad is glad that you are around more now.
He sure is! He helped me a LOT to get those 24
You have a massive amount of calves
Your dad is a riot lol great video
5 Star video!
Hey Cole man, when are u going to start work on a Little Cole so u can start training him to fill ur footsteps?☘🇨🇦

Was that an old McDs filet-o-fish commercial?
