3:00 Depth of field is the area between the closest and farthest point in an image that is IN FOCUS. So the iphone camera has LOTS of depth of field aka deep depth of field. Also i used to have an iphone years ago and you can just upload a portrait image to one of the tools that extract the depth data and it will spit out the depth map.
