I don't think that they are real Secrets😅 But this video is a good for beginers, so they know immediately what this pieces can do.👍🏻 Well shown and explained.
What surprised me is that transmitters (triggers) can turn themselves on when a marble runs through AND simultaneously are activated and transmit a signal, but receiver elements (dome starter) cannot turn themselves on, and even when you manually turn them on, they don't activate like the triggers do. So some POWER elements are self-waking. Others are not. And you gotta admit the beat box was a secret. 🤠
I just discovered your channel and your content already makes me so happy. Can't wait to see what more tracks you build and if there may be any more beat box secrets appearing in other videos... 😁
They also released a connect module which can be paired with other modules as well as its own separate app with a separate app it can play various sound effects or use it to activate a stopwatch mode, which can be perfect for viewing how long your marble run is from beginning to end
Although when it comes to the sound gimmicks, the speaker module already covers that so if you want to use a connect for something, I highly recommend just using the connect for the stopwatch function
Of course there is power lights, and a power sound module, which is basically a speaker now the triggers can affect the speaker but the lights they don’t be able to be affected by the triggers or be compatible with any of the power mechanisms at all I didn’t give you a bit more of a light up decorative element to your tracks
Secret that you missed: holding the trigger to light shows chequered flag print on both sides to indicate that it is mainly used for the end of a system!
1:36 Note on #12; the starter dome actually DOES send a signal when it's activated! But it's a signal completely separate from the RGB channels, as it's for the Connect element to pick up when you "start" a run.
@@MaskedMarble Yep! The Gravitrax Power protocol has more to it than meets the eye, for example, signals have information about the source stone, and signals can also be directed at a specific type of stone rather than an RGB signal. They were kind enough to release a Python library for interacting with the Connect, allowing you to write programs to explore the possibilities, and/or implement integration with anything you could think of. For example, I once made it so that it'd release a marble if you win in my Minesweeper clone I made for the Super Nintendo, hehe
I don’t understand the difference between the trigger and the « finish trigger » : it says that the second one is unidirectional but it seams to work very well in both directions… Can someone explain me this ?
What's your favorite secret about the GraviTrax POWER Starter & Finish Element set? 🤠
My favorite is the 40th one because it doesn’t exist on the title, thats so mysterious !🎃
If only power elements were rechargeable…
nope. Definitely the rechargeable aaa is my answer.
Auto resetting elements from the Gravitrax Pro set can be great when used for power based marble runs

Nice information🎉
Really nice informative video🤩🤩👍

If you do wanna have this run continuously using the dome launcher, then do not use elements that requires manual reset
Like the magnetic cannon

what is chequered
An embossed design similar to the black and white square pattern of a finish flag in auto racing.

Hmmm. Interesting. So if you manually prese the dome, the Connect app can pick that up to start a timer?

You're right. It works pretty well in both directions for me. But the instructions must be there for a reason? 🤷♂️
@@MaskedMarble they are both the same, but in the app you can "code" the runs they can be seen as 2 different triggers I thought
Maybe. I don't have Connect yet.
you didnt put together the finish in the thumbnail.
Good catch! It was sneakily hiding in my hand as I poured marbles back into the launcher. 🤠
What finish?
@Aiden45-w The finish element is the marble collector whose top you can pick up and use it to pour marbles back in the dome starter.
How expensive is gravitrax?❤
You can check out prices on Amazon. There's a sale on the Speed starter set right now.
😂😂😂
Again these are not all secrets
Not a secret
You knew about the beat box? 😁
