Today, April 6, 2023 marked 9 years on this memorable night. Personally for me I bet my college grades passing semester on the line every year but in this night, I regret the time watching WrestleMania xXx. It was on my Bachelor phase and I was taking a shower that night and I got couple of missed calls from my sister. I picked up my phone, i got text messages and explained me saying "hey brother, Undertaker lost a match tonight at WrestleMania". I was well aware between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar but thisnone was different since their rivalry back in 2002-2003. 9 years today it hurt me remember the time I regret watching the ppv and the streak winning was everything to him but being able to accept defeat is probaly the biggest testament of Undertaker's character there is. As the years go and looking back I remember in 2016 I got me a copy of WrestleMania xXx dvd, that match had impacted me most, and millions of people in New Orleans couldn't believe it. The Streak had become an annual spectacle mich more than the World Championship, the Holy Grail, the Lombardi trophy in WWE. The lore, the llegend of the Streak will never be duplicated ever again. Fans had been debated for years and I follow sites, word of mouth, the gossip, everything involved my interest whether Undertaker's streak was meant to be broken and my argument was no. He should've retired after 20-0. Had he gone 22-0, 25-0, or 30-0 its impossible to reach that milestone. This is kind of like the Kennedy Assassination conspiracies, lots going on but it is what it is. 9 years since that fateful night, I hadn't seen it live, its something I grew up from my baby steps, to my graduations, to my injuries, to my employment, to college years has all been worth it. My heart goes to the Deadman, the Phenom, the American Badass, the Digimon of the WWE- the legendary Undertaker. Thanks to him hes the reason I grew up watching wrestling my whole life and after my accident in 2001 kids at school I go to in athletics called me "dead man", "corpse", "darkness", any Undertaker related nickname. Thanks beautiful.
When Brock Lesnar first left WWE in 2004 he even tried out for the NFL. He was on the Vikings in the preason but he didn't make the final roster before the season started.
Taker should have lost a to newbie not Lesnar. Had Taker beaten him and extended his streak to 2018, maybe could have dropped the streak Kevin Owens or whomever and jettisoned that star into instant main eventer career level. Lesnar was already a main eventer, didn't need it.
Look Kevin is great and all but at that point in Undertakers Streak it just wouldn't be believable for anyone that isn't a legit Beast to beat him. So it was either Brock, Roman or noone and I think it worked great because it made Brock the biggest Monster in the WWE, which he STILL is.
If anyone shouldve broken the streak it shouldve been in a manner that transferred the streak over: As in someone similar to Undertaker defeats Undertaker starts getting booked like this Generations Undertaker goes on streak and when its time for that guy to leave they transfer it over again keeping the streak never ending but ending at the same time
It should’ve been a Kane that ended it but I don’t blame Vince at all for ending it. This kid in the video was saying that everybody knew Taker would win and Vince pulled the carpet out from under them. I love Brock but he didn’t need to be put over as he already was huge. Considering this was 2014 it should’ve either been His Brother which would’ve been awesome or Daniel Bryan who had some serious heat then.
I pretty much stopped watching WWE (and wrestling as whole) on a consistent basis around this. I was already losing interest but Undertakers streak ending pretty much pushed me over the edge 😩
PAUL HEYMAN WARNED DOLL UNDERTAKER NOT TO STEP WITH BEAST IN THAT RING OTHERWISE YOUR BODY AND STREAK BOTH WILL BE CONQUERED NOW UNDERTAKER WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT NIGHT GOODBYE BARBIE UNDERTWERKER
Love how the time frame of this video is 21:01
lol I caught that too!
That has to be the best coincidence ever

Yeah that night was crazy!!!!!!
I am kinda disappointed that they chose to end the streak.
I would’ve been ok with it ending if Kane did it

I was there that night, the energy in the stadium was inhuman like. You had to be there to understand what I’m saying.
i grew up watching undertaker every since 91

that guys on drugs. everyone knew taker had no chance vs brock

😁
i still cant believe taker lost to brock
Brock really didn't need that win even the undertaker said Brock didn't need that win
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Brock Lesnar's slammed him on the back of his head multiple times _ you're going to learn who the alpha is
He would have lost to Roman Reigns had he been 22-0
