Hey Gunnar, I was 'out' of windsurfing for 30+ years: Too cold in The Netherlands. But now living in the Baltics and started again since 3 years. Awesome scenery on the Baltic (Estonian) coast, great people with similar mindset and improving my skills. Aloha!

One thing is to travel with oversized luggages, you pay and usually it's ok. The other is when it's oversizing the oversized luggage most people carry around. As a Pole Vaulter, having to carry poles in planes it really is about who's behind the counter at check-in. Paying us not enough if airplane policy says it's over 1/2 meter
