    Just got a NEW 6" single station...Awesome and so configurable. Carvesmart is sweet.

      DCTTeacher1 I’d love to have an orange vise, I’ve heard a ton of good recommendations, but couldn’t justify it just due to cost. If things pick up and I make a few bucks on the side, maybe I can justify it. Thanks!

      @@bgwmachine Hey buddy. Yes they are expensive, but to be honest I think they're worth every cent. Definitely the best vise I've ever owned. Oh, my second choice would be the MLock 125. I'd have 2 of those set up on my mill in heart beat also ;-)

    Why won't a regular kurt d688/dx6 work for you?
    I have a lot of issues with the kurt vices l have but you didn't adress any of them . The biggest issue with any vice is the screw and I've used Kurt's rebuild kits without much success.
    I've never used an orange vice but I do like the fact that their entire screw assembly is replaceable. I don't like the way those small clamps have to be used to bolt it down. The surface area looks very small.
    I've heard bad things about Glacern's quality but I've never used one of their vices myself.
