The song selection is awesome...and can be enjoyed by everyone as all of the tunes were familiary. GREAT JOB...my only question...where are all the Stroudsburg fans? I was in the PAHS Marching Band in the 1980's and the home AND away stands were always packed.
@ThatWickedDrummer When kalimeris and I were in marching band together, the color guard was completely separate from the rest of the band. We did things separately and were treated separately. One person even went as far as to say that the color guard made the band worse and wasn't needed. But even while knowing that, we did our best to do our best. I loved Marching Band and Color Guard with a passion, even if the others didn't.
Marching: 5/5. Excellent as always Music 3/5: Seemed random. Guard 2/5: But I always know guard has a rough time. I was an SHS Guardie 03/04-06/07 Overall: 3/5 But I know SHS gets better as the year goes on. I miss the pit. D; They lost so much taking that away.
@AmberLeighD I think a lot of people in marching band don't realize how important a color guard really is to a visual. I've seen realllllllllly good guards that just MAKE the visual performance. A well-placed and well timed toss with a big guard can be AWESOME. I remember the band would always kinda be like "Whatever, color guard is stupid" when we were in band. :-( I don't know how it is anymore. I think that whole attitude started to get turned around after we graduated?
I'm a Pottsville alumni,1977 & I remember this performance and it was the best one I've seen at half time in a very long time !
@ThatWickedDrummer you guys were awesome, the Pottsville band appreciated your band coming, please come back again
