Hello 4th year NS here, tips ko lang sa mga 1st year, isapuso ninyo ang anaphy at health assessment, kung tingin nyo mahirap nayan mas hihirap payan the higher you are in the program, ma aappreciate nyo ng sobra kapag na master nyo ang anaphy kasi pag naka encounter na kayo ng diseases or abnormalities sa topic nyo mas madali nyo sya ma getets kasi alam nyo yung normal function nya in the first place, i myself struggled sa subjects ko nung 3rd year ako lalo na ngayon because i havent mastered anaphy. So yun tips lang yan and study well, hope we can all become nurses in the future. Laban
Pasensya sa mahaba habang comment 😅, anyway burn-out ay normal lang po talaga sa mga college students lalo sa nursing, wala ako nakita sa batch ko na in all 4 years nila na chillax lang, mas evident to nung kasagsagan ng covid kasi sobrang practical ng course na to pero dahil nga may pandemic hindi naka duty kaya kulang sa experience. Ang tips ko lang sa lower year na maging matatag sabi ko nga mas hihirap yan, maternal, med-surge and more retdems, kakainin nan kaluluwa mo. Lalo na pag working na, yung hirap namin ngayong 4th year di makumpara sa hirap ng working nurse. Pero mas marami kayo time matuto ngayon dahil pwede na dumuty at mag gain ng experience. Makinig sa lectures, at alamin at i memorize ang basics vital signs, laboratory values and yung theories wag nyo kalimutan, lahat yan babalik sa basics kaya sabi ko sa unang comment ko i master nyo anaphy at health assessment. Di ko to sinasabi para matakot kayo para lang maging handa. Pag burnt-out piliin mo mag pahinga, take a break tho mahirap course natin, as students marami pa tayo free time para mag relax, take a time for yourself, piliin ang sarili pag tingin mo down na down ka na. It helped me a lot. Goodluck sa journey mo, if by any chance na di mo man ituloy ang nursing ayus lang, once na may natutunan ka naman you are always a nurse.
but important po talaga pag magaling mag tyro yung prof samin kasi para syang nagmamadali palagi bigay ng bigay ng lab manuals hindi nya naman masyadong tinuturo😢

hello, I'm a STEM student at SHS. Sabi naman nila kahit ano pa daw ang track mo nung SHS it doesn't really that matter in College kasi back to zero daw talaga, but partly those subjects and knowledge u gained from SHS u can use them in college. Go pursue nursing, It's still up to you naman

Wow now today going, to be a grade 12 soon I'm realizing that grade 11 lessons is going to be very helpful in college . The return demo in our Major "Caregiving" is going to be very helpful here .. The Anatomy and physiology part of our study is a subject in college which we tacked the part of the heart the 4 chambers and alll the oral comunication physical science class
This is interesting. Nursing student ako dito sa US. Our timeline and pre-requisites vary from school to school. Ang hirap makapasok ng Nursing Program dito. May mga various Nursing programs dito. We have Associate of Nursing Degree (ADN) which is only 2 years and can get you the Registered Nurse License, we have Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), at meron ding Masters of Science in Nursing Direct entry where you already have a Bachelors in any degree and just take the core classes to get the nursing degree and get the MSN upon graduation. Then, there’s the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). BUT before you can get into any of these programs, you need to satisfy all the pre-requisites muna like anatomy and physiology, chemistry, biology etc… You also needed to pass the HESI test or the TEAS test to even get admitted to the nursing school. All schools here wont even allow you to enroll without finishing those classes. Kaya matagal dito ang nursing degree. You need to finish muna mga required classes before applying sa nursing school. Plus, all Nursing programs require their own GPA grades, letter of recommendation, health care job hours. May kanya kanya silang requirements bago ka matanggap, and usually it takes 2-3 tries on average bago matanggap ang isang applicant. It took me 2 years to finish all my requirements bago ako natanggap sa nursing program na pinasukan ko ngayon.

Don't worry!! I was stem student,, but I'm not the type who enjoys math or problem solving because I'm horrible at it, but it's not that bad actually u just have to push through (all you need to worry is when you get to college bc thats when things go hard) but goodluck!

Hello po. Taga antipolo po ako. Buti napanood koto kc nag ka idea ako kung ano mga inaaral sa nursing.gusto ko lng po ishare na Undecided parin po ako kung medtech kukunin kong course o nursing. Gusto ng pamilya ko matapos agad ako kc ang medtech daw po ay pwedeng 2yrs course lng. Eh kaso d ko talaga feel ung medtech haha. Mahina rin ako sa computations stka sa mga pag aaralan sa medtech course. Feel ko mas kaya ko mag nurse kc 8yrs na kong kasama ng mama ko sa dialysis. Pero ewan kopa rin hays.

Hello! yes po meron 😊 handwashing, donning/doffing of sterile gloves, bed making, catheterization (if ipapagawa po sa inyo ng CI). Mostly po kasi sa funda po ang application ng mga napagaralan so most probably po magreretdem po talaga 😊
I have a classmate who's 28 years old! And also some who already had jobs before and gone to take nursing course. No one cares about age here actually, just helping each other out, butin the end i shifted :,)

Hello po. Taga antipolo po ako. Buti napanood koto kc nag ka idea ako kung ano mga inaaral sa nursing.gusto ko lng po ishare na Undecided parin po ako kung medtech kukunin kong course o nursing. Gusto ng pamilya ko matapos agad ako kc ang medtech daw po ay pwedeng 2yrs course lng. Eh kaso d ko talaga feel ung medtech haha. Mahina rin ako sa computations stka sa mga pag aaralan sa medtech course. Feel ko mas kaya ko mag nurse kc 8yrs na kong kasama ng mama ko sa dialysis. Pero ewan kopa rin hays.
Sana magkaroon ka ng clear mind sa kung anong course ang kukunin mo na magiging beneficial for you 😊

Jusko bakit ngayon lang ako nag research about sa course ko 🥲 malapit na mag start ang 2nd sem namin, btw first year po ako huhu at biglaan, as in last minute ko lang napili ung nursing noong nag enroll ako at eto ngayon medyo na shu-shunga ako kaloka feel ko ang chill ko (???) last sem sa anaphy tho medyo nagsipag naman ako kasi sobrang daming recits pero ayun ang problema- WALA AKONG MASYADO MAALALA omygawd talaga good luck malala sa health assessment namin ngayong sem huhu. Thank youuuu so muchh po for doing this video and sharing your experience to us! 🥺 Magsisipag na talaga ako ngayon huhu dahil 11 subjects kami ay dalawa ung major, biochem saka health assessment na merong lec at lab sabay sobrang laki ng tinaas ng tf ni eac (for me bwahahah) kasi last sem ay 37k tapos ngayon naging 43k jusko dahil sa RLEs huhu pero hopefully, mag f2f na!!! LabaRN!

Hello! yes po meron 😊 handwashing, donning/doffing of sterile gloves, bed making, catheterization (if ipapagawa po sa inyo ng CI). Mostly po kasi sa funda po ang application ng mga napagaralan so most probably po magreretdem po talaga 😊

Yes po pero depende pa din po sa student kapag hindi po kasi nag take matatambak po sa next sem na papasok and mas nakakapagod po yun!

@@Geninsik i shifted i was first year and shifted next year because of financial reasons(mejo magastos talaga materials n books, uniform pa) and also mostly for my anxiety and my mental health was really bad
