Hi Comfort glad to see you reacting to Lucy again .She nailed this song as she does every song she sings. I think Lucy was 18 when she did this. She is now even better ,She did a concert in Manchester in March and has released 4 songs from it and she is even better Live. Her latest recording is "Unchained Melody" an absolute knock out the best version I have ever heard Lucy is the best end of. First time listening to Lucy Thomas, and I think she did a great job covering The Way We Were. Her vocals were magnificent, and captured the emotion of the song. I have heard the original version by Barbara Streisand, and saw the movie this song was in. When Barbara Streisand was performing, she was considered one of the greatest female vocalists in the world. She also stared in several movies with some of the greatest actors and directors of the time. I appreciate how much you enjoy great singers, and that is one of the many things I enjoy about your channel. Here are a few suggestions to check out, and live versions would be the way to go. Barbara Streisand - The Way We Were, Whitney Houston -I Will Always Love You, Celine Dion- My Heart Will Go On, and Christina Aguilera - It's a Man's World live at The Grammys 11/2/ 2007 (epic performance).
