I was vibing with you throughout the reaction - good to see I'm not the only one freaking out while listening to VP :D You got the gist of it in the comments already - Valhalla is basically the hall of the fallen from Norse Mythology (Vikings were not an ethnic group, just a bunch of mercenaries consisting of different Norsemen) where dead warriors continue fighting and feasting till the end of time. J's rap section is particularly on point due to the Norse/Germanic/Old English tradition of battle poetry, he basically gives himself and the rest of the guys a little confidence boost before the fight.
New to your channel but saw you were reacting to VoicePlay. So happy to see how happy their talent makes others. Keep being real with your vids. Great job.
I laughed when you said "maybe this will be a calm one".😂 Greeting from the U.S.A. The guys are so fierce in this one. It is a brand new one dropped on Friday so you are up on their current stuff. Now you gotta go back and react to their hundreds of other songs they have on their channel.😊
Apart from this one and Superstition, J.None also raps a little bit in their mega-collaboration, Just Sing (which although it sadly predates Cesar joining, is a pretty awesome vid featuring most of the other people who've been in VoicePlay back to the group's founding in 1997, and many of their major collaborators, as well as Tim Foust of Home Free.)
I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction! I think probably most of us looked same way the first time we heard it. As a patron I’ve been listening to it for over a week now and it still stuns me every single time. J was a permanent member from 2017 to 2021 when the Navy recruited him to front one of their bands. I love that they have him returning home in this. He’s been away and now he’s coming back where he belongs. Among their tattoos are runes spelling out VoicePlay. In My Mother Told Me Eli was a beserker. He obviously has recruited the whole group now. Even Cesar was scary. A lot of the tattoos and costuming is from MMTM. The rap is not part of the original. I’m not a big fan of rap but this is stellar. He is so fast that even with subtitles I can’t keep up! Geoff hit a B0 (according to those who know these things) three times. A piano has 88 keys. The two all the way to the left are an A0 & B0. He is singing at the very end of a piano keyboard! You should definitely check out the original, it is brilliant as well. Miracle of Sound apparently writes video game themed pieces. I really like the trio version with Peyton Parrish and Earl Hollaway.
Greetings from Pittsburgh, PA in the US. I just started watching your reactions and they're great. I can never get enough Geoff and Eli haha. They're all amazing but Geoff and Eli have my heart (I'm not crushing at all haha ;) )
Awesome reaction to an epic song and video. I've been listening to this since they posted it on their patreon a couple weeks ago. Geoff is releasing his new video on RUclips Friday the14th. What's better than one Geoff? Five Geoff's. Superstition by Voiceplay also has J None rapping.
Stumbled upon your channel while hunting for reactions to this song (I need a mental excuse to listen to this song over and over…don’t judge). Hi 👋 from California! Great reaction! Your reaction earned you another sub 😉
Valhalla is the Viking Warrior's Heaven. If they die in battle/glory that is where they go. The Vikings were probably the inspiration for the Klingons of Star Trek. Ever seen Worf?
You really need actual earphones for these. There's not an earbud on the planet that can produce the low notes Geoff was hitting in this very well. Not even Apple.
In their cover of "Superstition"......J. None raps in it......it is a Stevi Wonder song, you will enjoy it,.........think Haunted House, with Omar Cardona.......>^^
Please do make the opacity solid. I really want to see their incredible staging, costuming and makeup. Please? If you want to see J None rap again, look up Superstition!

It was awesome to see you enjoy their video so much! Thank you for your reaction!
Famous last words: "This one may be a very calm one."
I just bought a pair of headphones that vibrate when the bass hits...Geoff has been on repeat since I got them! 😂😂😂
Hit a B0 3X in this one. Only 2X in Halo. Leave it to a Layne arrangement to push things just a little more...
I think this one is more impressive just due to the sustained B0 while Halo's B0 was brief.
It is wonderful to see you enjoy their performances so much. Keep up the great reactions! 🩵
I appreciate your kind words mandyrosejaren. Thank you 😄😄👍.
Next time I will try to remember to turn my volume down.. Your excitement made me smile and deafened me. 😂 🇬🇧

That was Geoff's lowest note, a B0. He hit it in HALO but not like this sustained 15 second note. It really is extraordinary.
This is part 2 to My Mother Told Me! I'm really hoping we get another installment to this story! Enjoyed the reaction!!

J None....that's all I have left to say! 😍
Happy Easter from Memphis TN 🐤🐇👃
This is the theme song from Assassins Creed Valhalla
Valhalla is the Viking Warrior's Heaven. If they die in battle/glory that is where they go. The Vikings were probably the inspiration for the Klingons of Star Trek. Ever seen Worf?
If you enjoyed J.'s rap, give VoicePlay's cover of Superstition a listen!
Also in trouble, taylor swift cover Layne drops bars.
These are 5 brothers... React to their Metallica if u haven't it shows Eli's High, Geoff's low, Layne's Beat, J's front and Ceasears contol.
You really need actual earphones for these. There's not an earbud on the planet that can produce the low notes Geoff was hitting in this very well. Not even Apple.
Valhalla is an ancient Viking lore that when a Viking warrior dies in battle, he goes to Valhalla afterlife on a ship of fire.
There may be others out there who know, but I know there was one of these songs where Geoff injured his voice reaching some of those lows.
In their cover of "Superstition"......J. None raps in it......it is a Stevi Wonder song, you will enjoy it,.........think Haunted House, with Omar Cardona.......>^^
Fire!!!!!
One last thing....if you wanna see how deep Geoff can go....check out "The Oogie Boogie Man". Your welcome! 😊
