ProjectSAM OE was my first ever VST library purchase when I was around 18! They always have such great textures to their sound, especially with orchestral sound design. I'd love to use this new Lumina for video game composition- the bells and whistles add a fun life to the sound versus just a straight set of orchestral patches.
There is a mystery in this library especially i like the Oboe sound and the Choir also that i love for my music i make!Thank you!!!😀
love that pack. Projest Sam is still ALIVE!
I would definitely use this for a fantasy RPG score!
This is totally different than OT or SF libraries. Made by different company with a lot of creative minds. This would suits any dramatic scenes and even the jazz genre. Wow! Brilliant!
Wow! The first thing I‘d write with that, is an epic fantasy style track that pictures an elven city in a valley.
Awesome review, Chris! Love that choir, and those woodwind FX are gonna be so useful! :)
Really nice fantasy vibe, instruments like this really take you to a whole world inside your head and the waterfall just demands a character introduction
The giveaway page showcase the Gabrielle flute, just letting you know!
Fixed - thanks so much for letting me know! Please go ahead and resubmit if you haven't already!
notice that too
@@ChristopherSiu ready 💪🏻
I’d love to use this sort of sound in some of my teaching material. More and more kids are asking about video game music nowadays and I get such a cool fantasy elder scrolls/lord of the rings vibe from this pack, it’d be so cool to work it into my own writing and teaching. Thanks Chris!
I really like the flute, full orchestra patches and bells in this library. I've been working on a fantasy inspired album for a while now. Some of the patches in this library would work well for my project.
What a beautiful library. I really like that fact that this is not only a world class sample library but also that a learner like myself can really hear and understand orchestration by isolating the section.
there is so much material in this library it's almost unbelievable. You could do so much with just Lumina 2.0. Recorded performances in the right context are also a great touch to add realism.
This is definitely my kind of library. Already own the ensembles and sections, so a library with textural applications would be a godsend for my music. I can see this working with the more fall and winter-themed pieces I try to create for a personal passion project of mine.
Very versatile library with a great tone. I'm a composition student who's done some scoring on short films and for theatre, this library would be a big step up for me and allow me to create some magical scores.
It’s really impressive how ProjectSAM has been updating their libraries over the years. This would be a great library to own, as it’s so sonically rich. The double bass patch is pretty unique and I’d love to put that to work
Thank you for your in-depth review, been following your work for quite some time now, and your attention to detail, in-depth reviews, creativity, and honest opinions are why I follow your channel. Project Sam always delivers a fantastic sound library indeed. I would gladly use it for some dreamy, fantasy score, a project for sure. May the luckiest win. Thank you for the video once again, keep making beautiful creative projects, great work.
Another banger library by ProjectSAM. Ahh so good.
Christopher Siu, Really nice demo and review. I'm thinking of getting this during the 50% off sale for the next 12 days at Native Instruments.
The sounds/presets in this library are so beautiful! I think this library could be a great starting point and time saver for a novice (like me) to create fantasy music.
Loved Sam samples since the “old day” of kontakt three and the original brass libraries! Never wanted to invest in these libraries but ironically the older the get, the better the sound!
I love ProjectSam! Lumina sounds amazing. I would be most excited to use the Orchestrations to help create cool atmospheres.
I'm going to work on a school game project soon and this library would be an amazing starting point! Thanks for the opportunity!
Really nice library. I could use it for my next album !
Great as always Chris! Would definitely use this for the solo woodwinds!
Great work Christopher. Can definitely see this in my next feature project!
Keep it up 🍀🎉
The music that I make is alternative rock/metal influenced by HIM and Linkin Park, among others, and contains a LOT of sample libraries. While I have nothing to showcase from folk metal, sometimes the heart does gravitate to arranging something with elements from that and something like Lumen could come extremely handy. And well, obviously, this will go wonderfully for any fantasy-oriented cinematic piece.
This is a wonderful library, I love what ProjectSam is doing here. Lots of different instruments and timbre's to experiment with and would go great with many genres. I'm now even thinking of purchasing it to use in future works and would be a great addition to my library collection. Thanks for an amazing video, Chris.
Wow! I had not heard about Lumina before actually. Seems like a really well rounded library!
Some incredibly beautiful sounds in this library. Especially the woodwinds and the trumpet! Cheers Chris, lovely review
The UI is much better now. I love how the woodwinds sound and I can´t wait to have them :D
This is a gold library! I'd love to have it to start a new RUclips channel with magical fantasy music as I already do with medieval music. The instruments sound magical, uplifting and otherworldly. This kind of music doesn't get enough attention as it can only be understood and appreciated by highly sensitive people.
That's an awesome and beautiful library! It helps to be quick with jobs that have urgent deadlines.
Thanks for the review!
Can't wait to use it to write that kind of fantasy christmas piece for my church project!! 🎊
This library is a beautiful gem...
Wow this library is amazing, I compose for audiobooks and theatre and this would be the magic that im currently missing. So far I use Orchestrator and The Free Orchestra from ProjectSAM. Love to y'all
Thanks for the review Chris! I don't have a lot of ProjectSAM libraries yet, but I really enjoy the ones I have. I find instant inspiration kind of libraries very useful and I believe Lumina 2.0 is just that.
Great library! This will be perfect to help me learn how to compose fantasy and epic music
Like a dream come true... 1.6 organization was very messy, now it's simple and lovely. Would like to hear the orchestrations and transcribe them to learn, that's always helpful
Impressed with ProjectSam exposure via The Free Orchestra offers in past. Ready dive in now with Lumina 2.0 !
The versatility in this library is amazing. The ensembles and solo instruments are all great quality. Not to mention the user interface is great too! 😄I would love to use this for making great mock-ups- I’m primarily interested in making trailer music and uplifting orchestral pieces. As always, great job playing and showcasing this library, Christopher! 😊
Harp : YES
i am a big fan of ProjectSam. i would use this library to score a fantasy animation or game
Thanks for another great giveaway Christopher, and obviously, Project Sam! I would use this as a go-to library for light film scoring, as there is just so much variety in the library! I would really like to get into the Project Sam world, as another RUclipsr I follow (Dave Kropf of 52 Cues), absolutely swears by them and has all their libraries!
Great demo. I really enjoy the fantasy vibes in Lumina. The woodwinds really got me.
This library looks great when you want to have additional articulations and the choir is fantastic.
i really love the projectsam libraries, id be using these in my darker fantasy compositions ,the flute has a really nice sound to it ,great video as always
I love the fantasy tone this library has. It would definitely fit well with my atlantis voices from Zero-G !! Thanks for the review
So many possibilities for using this collection - in all genres of the more traditional kind really.
This library is very comprehensive. I got to try it out once and I really liked it. It is not just good for fantasy, but also animation. I hope to get it some day! Thanks for the video Chris :)
Perfect for fantasy music. So lovely library
Sounds amazing! Big fan of the harp
I've been interested in Project Sam libraries but only have Orchestral Tools volume one so far. Thanks for this detailed run-through!
I would use Lumina to write music in the style of the Lord of the Rings! Those soundtracks made me want to start writing music. Great video!
Wow, this library is incredible. This would really bring the music I am working on for my game to life.
Such a beautiful library, I'd love having this library to expand my orchestral palette, and this library will provide a unique tone colour to my tracks, especially my uplifting and fantasy tracks.
Wow lumina sounds so great, so much versatility
That harp has a lovely sound. I would definitely use it in my music. A great showcase of the library as always :)
I always appreciate developers updating their libraries, Project Sam always had one of the best sounding recording stage in my opinion, for that reason this library would be good to use in most projects most likely, however the orchestrations and the multis are really something special, and the non so usual solo instruments would really fill out the ability that i have to make more fantasy style music.
I have always been interested in making fantasy music, and I believe this library will be an awesome inspiration tool for me to get started. I would definitely use this tool for sourcing ideas while also include it in the final product if I get the library.
It really is perfect for Fantasy soundtracks, sounds beautiful
Cool! I would love to use this for trailer music :) The brass sounds awesome!
Fantastic sound of this library. I see it is tailored toward fantasy music, but I think many patches could also work for other things. I would probably use the solo WW and the full orchestral patches. Those are just filled with inspiration
Sounds incredible!
I really like the Sound. Very useful for a Dokumentation i'm working on.
Wow this Vst is Amazing, great review by the way!!!
Great demo. I would love to use that library for my romantic and emotional music!
I am looking a long time on this Libary. The new update are amazing. I am struggling about the age of the libary, but I like the sound.
Awesome library!! Would love to use it in my orchestral composition.
Great stuff!
Project Sam make really nice libraries. I have True Strike from them and it is just really really good and the Free Orchestra is nice too. This looks to be set up the exact same as True Strike, I think they are doing this with all their libraries now, it is very good. I had a question about automation advanced stuff and they answered me in an email within 1 day! Really good company! I would like to own all their libraries some day. You are right, the recorders sound amazing here! And i just love the sound of the Celtic Harp. This is a really useful all round library could be used for many things.
Legato patches are really convincing !
I really like the choir , really usefull for fantasy Indeed.
I would love to use this library on a fantasy music composition, this sounds great ;)
This library would be great for quickly creating fantasy textures, I would mostly use it for film scoring projects
Sounds great!
I would love this for the whistle! xD but of course, all the patches sound amazing and lets not forget that projectsam tone is underrated
Would definitely use this for some of my upcoming projects which are mixes of fantasy and horror, and comedy🙌
Suite for fantasy music which is my favorited type of writing. The sound from projectsam libraries are amazing.😊
So amazing library ! I just participed for the giveaway, cant wait for create beautiful sound !
In a word Wonderful - Filled with wonder!!!! Also with Celtic Harp and Double Bass. I hope I win!!! It will help so much with the fantasy,SciFi and Comedy aspect, since I have few options in this regard! Fingers crossed!
Lumina 2.0 is fantastic and the UI is so user friendly! The instrument patches are really inspiring and I would love to create high fantasy style music. The depth of Lumina is amazing and this latest version is a great update.
Thanks for this amazing library and giveaway. I would use this library for myself as i am a former composer and I love to write orchestral music. But sometimes the prices are so high for a good VST, this giveaway would really help for sure :)
Loving this! I would love to use it for an upcoming fantasy film!
Nice and interesting library
Really like this library and composing for the fantasy/game genre. Would like to use it to create and compose more music in the genre and explore others. :) Cheers
ProjectSAM are awesome, still updating the Symphobias after years! I would definitely use this for an upcoming fantasy project!!!
I wonder wether this 'all-in-one' patch is a good idea. but this library does sound pretty good!
Great I will use this for fantasy themes.
I like some of those evolving high strings. I would probably find a use for those.
What a great sounding library. I would use orchestration textures to add some realism to BBCSO!
great review as an hors d'oevre, but can we expect some composing examples with Lumina?
just getting into orchestral VSTi's. haven't yet decided on a traditional (orchestral) library but also interested in something like lumina for something a bit more "cinematic".
Definitely doing an epic fantasy piece if I win!
I would use it for my (fantasy) trailer tracks! And I’m really curious for how the poly legato mode works in practice.
Thanks!
Adriaan
I'd like to write a Christmas fantasy soundtrack. So beautiful sounds in it 😍
Sounds great! Would do wonders for the fantasy game soundtrack im currently working on!
This library could be used for projects I'm working on now. It seems to be a tool that wouldn't just sit in my toolbox.
I like the solo trumpet with harmon mute, if I rmember correctly. Prefect for noire kinda stuff.
I do not have full library yet except BBSCO Discover. I can go with buying stuffs on baby steps because of exchange currency of my country and i do not use pirate thing. Only licensed! I've just seen this library first time in this video and sounds awesome. I would love to have it.
Thank you.
