I love having it fatten up my guitar with the octave down setting. Having the tone all the way to the left, the balance at like 7:30-8oclock, and the detune a full octave down and just a smidge off so the effect is just barely there is great. It sounds great right before dirt like this and one of these days I’ll use it for Bass VI, I have a feeling that combo will be great.
I straight up love the MO-2 on guitar. I really enjoy it on bass but its beautiful on guitar, I used the stereo outs once and it was pretty intense. I think when you use it on Bass VI you might find you like the opposite settings that accentuate the highs more than the lows. You might not though!
Great review! Just scored a floor model of this on the cheap, stoked to dig into it, it's really cool! The irony though, I recently fulfilled my lifelong dream of acquiring a Hamer 12 string. Although, I'm looking to this lil' jammer for dialing in more of a Leslie kinda vibe.
As a singer and lead bassist in a rock duo, I use an ABY splitter with one channel going right to a bass amp, and the other channel going to a guitar amp with the MO-2 at the top of my effects chain, followed by distortion and reverb. Sounds awesome! No need for a guitarist!
That's awesome, on my board for one of my bands I split the signal with a little crossover pedal, sending the lows to a bass amp sim and the highs to a guitar amp sim. I sold the MO-2 before I started doing this as I've also got the EHX Pog 2 but I'm wondering if the MO-2 might be better for me to try again as although the Pog is great, it just doesn't sound right to me in that context.
Totally. I have one setting i like on bass....but i use it all the time with different setups in different bands and i cant exactly get the same sound out of other pedals so its worth it for me.

I've been using this pedal for the last few years. I can honestly not gig without it.
Its such a great unique sound, kinda has an organ-y sound with an octave pedal-y sound, i love using it very subtly to enhance lead guitar/bass riffa
This is the best explanation of this pedal.

Woah, I would love a 12 string. I think the mo2 used on the 12 string would be bonkers. Definitely give it a go and let me know what it sounds like
@@TheoAndHisPedals Ha! Yeah, that would be crazy! I'll ease into that one! STill getting my head around the 12, it's a beast, but awesome1
This thing is goddamn amazing.

@@TheoAndHisPedals - Agree. The MO-2 just fills it all in just right. It takes a bit of fooling around with the controls, but it’s worth it.
Does the stereo output on the pedal send just the effected signal to another amp or will it split the effect between both amps?
It's wet signal to both outputs.
This is an amazing pedal on bass.
Agreed, i have two now just so i always have one with my and one at my rehearsal pace.
great demo, what are those stickers/cards??
They're a tarot card set called Autonomic Tarot by Sophy Hollington and Dave Keenan. I think they look great.
Great vid, thank you!
👍
For the future - I would not whisper - It's frustrating when the presenter is not easily understood
Sounds like some absolute junk settings for bass as well as a few gems. I guess you have to enjoy the watermelon and spit out the seeds.
