I love these Figure-Rist Standard kits. Affordable, fun to build, and as you said, FINALLY ANIME ACCURATE. Articulation could be better but it's just so nice to look at these. I cannot wait for Dukemon, and I'm personally really wishing for an Omegamon and Susanoomon.
Figure rises are indeed more affordable and I have 6 of these toys too, but they can't be posed freely many times because the joints are prone to fracture. The advantage of this product is that it prioritizes details similar to those in anime, but sometimes the shape is not proportional, such as sleeves that are too short or too small. SHFiguarts is still holding on to the most reasonable figure choice, even though the price is quite expensive
I love the Amplified versions for the X feel they have, still have to catch that Mugendramon, but the normal versions looks really sick, happy to hear that people that dont like the amplifieds have such a good option too.
Only like 4 options are standard while like 12 are amplified.
I have Machinedramon... but be careful when putting his tubes, neck, and tail together. They are a bitch to get into place just right.

You know it! Honestly, I'm just holding on to it at this point to make fun of it every time a new WarGreymon figure gets released. (^o^) Like, I sold off my D-Arts figure quite some time ago, but this guy is ironically just too horrible to get rid of. (^.^')

Really, really hoping for an Omnimon. Honestly, the Amplified version, while I like it a lot, would be more than awesome to me if it weren't for the weird cape. Even if it's grown on me it just doesn't have the royal and majestic feel of Omnimon in the anime, so I'd love to see Figure Rise Standard delve into him and complete the WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon and Omnimon trinity.

To be honest, I do like the Figure-rise Standard Amplified lineup of kits. Imperialdramon looks like a Gundam when in Fighter Mode, AND it transforms into Dragon Mode.
OMG an actually relevant fix! I hated Wargreymon's arms for lack of articulation. This doesn't fix the elbows, but does help a lot!
Yeah... It kinda makes up for it.

Hey man this is why I love model kits! Model kits will add features like that specifically bandai will to make the models better if you pay attention. Greatest example is the gundam model kits front skirts are the same way
I've been loving the whole Digimon model kit line ever since it started with the amplified kits. Really hoping that these anime accurate ones continue going though. It's such a relief to finally have a Wargreymon on my shelf that looks exactly like the one that made me love the design in the first place. Fingers crossed that they'll actually give us some Frontier love for once.
With that said, have you checked out the Shodo line? I simply couldn't ignore that when they started making all the Digimon from Adventure 1 in it. It's pretty awesome to have a display of all 8 digidestined partners plus Omnimon.
Those are really cool for their size! I bought an Omegamon one and I was surprised by how poseable he was. I might get more later, but some of them definitely look better than others. (^.^')
I haven't bought this kit yet... But the mod you showed is something I'll be doing when I get one (if I find a decent price that is).
Actar if they made another digimon figure-rise standard model kit which digimon would you like/hope they do. Me personally i hope they do the rest of the adventure casts Mega/Ultimate, or Omegamon/Omnimon and maybe some from Frontier.
Hm... good question! Beelzemon, KaiserGreymon, and ShineGreymon would be my top three picks.

Welcome back, Actar. I am terrible with model kits, so these Digimon model kits are off-limits to me. I will look forward to seeing more Digimon figures, though. I also hope that more Digimon villains will also get figures down the line.

Here's to hoping they'll dip into the villain Digimon. A Myotismon or Piedmon would be sick, for example. (hell, BlackWarGreymon would require like almost no new tooling)

I built all of these and have to say metal garurumon is the best/sstable one. I kept bending/stressing the elbow joints accidently for the other two. I LOVE that these are cheaper alternative. Hoping we get omnimon after dukemon because I have yet to buy omnimon! I'm not a huge fan of the amplified x one.

As for me, I'd wish they come up with a modern posable Flamedramon figure, model kit or not. It's such a cool design but I'm not aware of any modern figures

I hate when a figure has it's arms stuck on a bicep swivel. Drives me nuts. Are forearm swivels that hard?
True dat! In this case, however, it seems like this was always part of the intended design but perhaps scrapped halfway due to the piece layout on the runner.

You know, Actar? Bandai and Toei no longer give a damn about Digimon Frontier anymore in a similar way to G Gundam. It's simply because it's the most hated anime in the Digimon franchise. So they will never give you anything for Frontier anymore, not even new versions of KaiserGreymon.
It's Frontier's anniversary and we're getting Frontier Dim Cards. You never know~
