Currently reading this book and I am soo grateful for it. Thank you this interview! So interesting what you said about how we’re the most informed generation but the least experienced.. that hit home bc I realised how before having a baby I never really experienced babies around me. For me though, I felt like it forced me to tune into my intuition more and cater it towards my baby trusting that everything she was was absolutely normal and perfect for her. We bed shared since day 1, breastfeed on demand, spend all day everyday together. She is 11 months now and absolutely thriving in every way. So proud of her!
I am hopeful and optimistic for the future generations to come.🙏🏽🙏🏽

Loving this book! Having the scientific sources for these innate feelings I have for my baby has been so helpful. I don’t engage with my MIL but she makes all kinds of comments that let me know she thinks I am making my baby dependent and spoiled by holding/wearing/cosleeping with him.
