The whole album has been amazing and helped me connect and feel seen in my experiences with my Pakistani father. His sacrifices of immigrating to the US for his family. The sacrifices he made for the family he created here, and the things my brother and I didn't understand until now. "Love is unconditional, Under the right conditions" hit me so strongly and brought me to tears. Tonight and I Bite brought out years of emotion and feeling like no one understood expressed in two songs. I am so excited to see you on tour soon for the second time in my life. Thank you for being amazing and doing what you do.

WOW what a beautiful song. Just the growth that happens when you take a listen to the father son lyrics. The raw emotion in the reflection brought me too tears. A perfectly constructed song.
The complexity of being a first generation kid in America and your immigrant father not quite knowing how to connect with you but always loving you and protecting you. I love my dad with all my heart even though we butted heads constantly. I never fully comprehended until much later in life the sacrifices, blood, sweat, and tears he put into carrying our family through every struggle. As a first generation Hispanic American I felt this song in my core. I related to your entire statement. It’s a beautiful bittersweetness that can’t be explained unless experienced first hand. It’s a different kind of love, a tough love, rough around the edges but always present, always persistent. It took me years to understand that my father loved differently, he demonstrated love through daily sacrifice; the strongest of wills to provide. No such thing as sick days, against all odds, my father put it all on the line for me and my siblings and it made me the man I am today.

This song is so beautiful it hurts! One of the most "in the open" worthy songs we'll ever get.
I just love those final verses in the lyrics, how they subtly change from similar ones earlier in the song. The words on unconditional love changing to represent not just what he learned from his father but what he himself wants to pass on.
