Great video. Instructions were straight forward. I like that you did it more than once so we could really see each step. Thank you.

I returned my harbor freight panel about a year ago because of this. They are great panels you can just walk into a store and buy that already comes with a mount. This video solves everything.

Lead this is a FANTASTIC video! One of your best 👍🏼👍🏼 I have to say we bought those panels on sale a few months back and after Ian we only used 1 because.......adapters 😡 and I was sadly unprepared with a solid set up. Thank you for the very easy to follow step by step instructions 🙏🏻 and a great product to help.

Hi Lead, you seem to be a teacher. You explained the procedure step-by-step. Then you gave us a real-time demonstration of those same procedures. Great job Lead. Now everyone should be able to alter most adapters to what you need! Thanks Lead.

I needed to know this. I have a Thunderbolt HF SAE panel and a VToman Jump 600X. I have been using the car DC 12V adapter to power the VToman because I had no idea how to convert it.
    Optimistically futuristic,
    Tia

You're the man, I followed your instructions and it was super fast and simple. Not sure I needed the bouge kit, but I bought it on your recommendation anyway. The one part where I was lost was trying to release the bouge crimpers... You didn't really make it clear how to, I ended up just hitting the clip in between the handles to release it.

One problem I had was pushing the crimped connection down into the housing. Typically with PV wire it is thick enough and the sheathing is strong that you can put a good amount of force to push The connection down into the housing firmly. The harbor freight wires have no rigidity and when I try and push it down into the housing the wires will bend and I get no force behind the metal connection so that it clicks into place in the housing.

Hi Mr Lead, I was contemplating on how I was going to light up my garage!, you helped me to decide... I will get solar panels and attached them on the flat roof of my garage, and will place the generator in the garage!!!. I will save money on an electrician and use them for the house!

makes SENSE but TECHNICALLY you can just splice the PLUGS add a 5 amp fuse (for safety reasons) ON THE POSITIVE CABLe and splice the negative with negative and then heatshrink wrap them and then voila no adapter kit needed ! “it is only electricity”-nikola tesla

Fr like why does harbour freight gotta use this plug. They need to switch to the standard mc4. I can't connect this stupid panel to my power bank bc of this weird connector. But honestly imma just regurn the panel bc paying an extra 48 for this kit isn't worth it if I can't buy a slightly less good panel for 77$ on Amazon. Disappointed in harbour freight for using this kind of connector

I ended up removing the cheap ass 14awg cables with some 10awg. DC need thicker cable, only HF comes with the cheap cable. The panels by themselves are solid, they get the job done.

I see many different answers online and bluettie voicemail is full..did my due diligence :)

@@heatherk8931 yes so I finally got in contact they said to let it drain to 0% before charging it for the first time..they also said it's ok to let it discharge to 0% instead of like 40% because it has a backup storage that protects it from draining to low or something like that
