Today I have a live bait video for all of you! This video is super cool because it is a budget fishing kit from WALMART! This Cane pole is only $10.00 so it is great for the average / starting angler or kid! This video was super fun to film with kickintheirbasstv and we caught some slab bream / sunfish! I used to fish this way with my grandpa so it meant a lot for me to sort of go back in time and use the rod I originally used when I began fishing! Have any of you guys live bait fished with a cane pole before! Who loves multi-species fishing? Go catch some fish and try out a cane pole from WALMART!

Thw instructions say to tie it 7 to 8 inches behind the metal loop. To avoid all the pressure from the metal loop.

Heck yeah, love seeing the multi-species videos. (Bass are the best, but don't forget the rest.) Would really dig seeing you and others do a night fishing video for bass or catfish. Just as a changeup, don't be afraid of doing some mostly informitive episodes either. Learning to read the water, how to present different lures. (perhaps make use of a fish tank to show how it should look in real situations)

Perfect rig for kids... They don't care what size or what kind of fish they just want action. Kids don't want to go fishing... they want to go CATCHING. Good video. (With kids, you defiantly want to bend down those barbs on the hooks though)

We do ours different we thread line through the eye and on to the handle so you can wrap the slack up

Koreans spend thousands of dollars on cane polls out here for carp fishing. They will camp out for days on end with 3 polls set up and they even use the same rods when ice fishing.

@@ADUB1 that's probably it, better word for it, I grew up fly fishing so that knot and a homemade loop knot I do is all I use never broke off once.

Adub i have a great idea for something that could be big. I sent lojo a message and i know that all of you guys are super busy but i cant get the other guys to respond. You can use a variety of baits and lures with a cane pole. You can lure placement. You can lure patience. Reeling and casting are not the main parts of fishing.
