I have been looking at papers and a lot of research about it. The 2% dilution seems to be adequate to put and leave a few hours on your scalp, while 5% seems to be appropriate for rinse usage. The paper with a comparison between rosemary oil and minoxidil doesn't specify which quantity of rosemary oil was used, but the minimum concentration of the main principle: 1 8-cineole. It has at least 3.7mg of 1 8-cineole per ml. I did the calculations and magic is 2% concentration. According to nowfoods calculator it should be about 6 drops in total for a tbsp of carrier oil (15ml) to reach that 2%. What none tells you is exactly how much to apply of the diluted solution per square inch of scalp. That's the real deal. The studies found that improvements were mild after 6 months with minoxidil or rosemary oil. Basically the same 8% average improvement in hair count (I had to do the math as well, is not published in a straightforward way to understand it). But mixing peppermint oil will make solution that could irritate your scalp or burn it. 30 drops + 10 drops are 40 drops total, if you apply that completely you will be applying a 13.5% diluted mix of essential oils. 6 times more than the studies concentration and according to everyone on aromatherapy way too much. Perfumes have just 10%. I know that balding is ugly, but let's play safe. Do your research, think, go slowly, and don't burn your head, because you'll lose all your progress. The recommendation is 510ml of the carrier oil and 10ml of the essential oils mix. In total, not of each one that you want to put there. 5+5 is ok, 10 is ok, but no more than 10ml in 510 of carrier oil. That has been proven with studies that it works as much as minoxidil in study groups of 50 people. Good luck fellas.
@@prabhatyadav1863 it's not that easy. Even measuring the drops is wrong. It has been proven that the drops vary in weight. The most conservative approach is 2% dilution, to not burn your scalp if you leave it there. 5% if you rinse it. 5% is 5 drops in 5ml. 2% to leave on the scalp is 2 drops in 5ml. Shampoo or carrier oil. Then it depends how much product you use. Maybe 10ml in total for a shower and 5ml for 2 massages per day. It doesn't matter which essential oils you use as long as you don't exceed the amount of drops to guarantee your dilution. You can do 2% in 5ml of jojoba oil with a drop of peppermint oil and a drop of rosemary oil. Or you can just apply 4 drops in 10ml in total and use that for the massage. Using 40 drops in a tablespoon is too much. That's 40 drops in 15ml, instead of 6. But he doesn't use a lot of his mixture. He just uses tiny drops. The dilution is still around 14%, way too high, but he uses a tiny amount that distributes in his scalp. The first contact with such high concentration is what can burn his scalp. He's lucky he supports that degree of dilution, but I'll prefer to apply more oils and still have the same amount of essential oil in my scalp. You avoid the risk of burning it but also that screw up your progress on
