I agree Angela, the time it takes for cutting and even weeding can take a considerably long time. Not to mention any mistakes during cutting or weeding. The sublimation is much more efficient for me.

Great job! I have a tip for you. If you move the collar band off of the heat press you will eliminate some of your ghosting. A flat surface is needed.

1) Change your press to 365 degrees. 2) You don't need the sheet in the middle, it won't pass through from one side to the next. 3)Don't worry about the moisture content in the shirts. You got them with a plastic wrap and if you don't see any steam, they are dry enough. The press will dry them anyway. 4)Butcher paper by the roll with a cutter is much cheaper. Once you buy the cutter, it will last a life time. 5)If you set the pressure of your press to the lowest setting and use a pad or pillow, it will be fine, and not leave the straight lines on the shirt from the design. You don't need to tear the sheets individually on every side. If the lines show, just raise your pressure 1/4 turn, place parchment over the design, and press again for 15 seconds.

HI Angela! Do you now prefer sublimated kids apparel over the DTG? Do you find you are having more issues with reprints for the sublimated shirts vs the DTG? I do sublimation currently but sell other items not apparel so I was wondering. I currently do have reprints even still after doing this for over a year LOL I love the sublimation videos - keep them coming girl!!

... and your heat tape? I see you're able to carry your garment to the press, but my heat tape falls off if I just adjust the shirt.

I do have a sublimation question. I am finding a bunch of95% polyester, 5% spandex shirts. Are these good enough to use where it won't be of lesser quality of color?

I lint roll before I take the oxygen out of the garment to ensure that the fibers are still laying down.

Im new with the sublimation. I still cannot get them to come right. I got 3 tumblers and 1mug that came out perfect, but ruin 3 tumbler and 4 mugs. 3 ceramic mugs were too light 1 stainless steel mug got burned. I just figured out how to change my press temperature from Celsius to fahrenheit and i set it to 365 f for 80 sec. is that the right time and temp. need help
