Great fun! This is the fun kind of purchase where you get to explore and it doesn't cost much. Me...I've been paying too much but I've enjoyed making the videos. tHanks for the great video!
Really happy to see you posted a video this morning. I see it's an old video when you said 2500 subscribers and your at 9700. I hope you came through the hurricane OK. Great score on the boxes and tools. Keep us posted thanks
A great purchase. And some interesting stuff, much of which we've never had in Oz. Our most popular supplier of tool boxes (and tools) was Sidchrome, a local manufacture which started in the 1940's, supporting the war effort. Like much of our local manufacturing it's gone, with manufacturing going overseas. I guess a similar situation in the US. Good to see you're doing your bit to preserve our history!
I have a weird middle box very similar to the one you have. I have never seen another one so I figured it was probably home made but now I'm wondering.
I was thinking it looked home made as well but then someone here mentioned that it may have been made to Mount under a truck bed. That’s a possibility too.
I think the really heavy middle box is for a truck's side mount, like a tow truck has for chains and tie downs. How about some info on where you sell some of your finds. Thank you.
Thanks for the info! That’s a possibility for sure. It’s also a perfect size for a middle box so I’ll likely use it for that. I actually sell very little. I do trade a lot and donate much of it out but I am becoming a bit of a pack rat and need to get busy with offloading things.
Thanks! I think you’re right about it being a Craftsman. Still no power here. Lots of trees down and flooding but I made it through ok. Far better than a lot of folks here.
Another great haul for 100 bucks. With the boxes. Thank you for sharing! 💯👍
Thanks! I haven't figured out what to do with these boxes yet but I think it was worth the trip.

Thanks! There's usually some level of chance involved in any toolbox haul but I've had some good luck. Going to check out your channel now.

Thanks! I made it through the storm ok. Still no power though. Hopefully in a few days it’ll be up.
@@floridarusticrepairsgood to hear from you and your okay. I actually work for a company in Oldsmar and have a lot of friends in and around Tampa.

Thanks! Yes, it's a crime how manufacturing has been outsourced to foreign countries here as well. There's almost nothing left.
Nice catch for $100. Waiting for the tool box tour.
Thanks! I just need to move in my hardware and fastener boxes and then I can do an entire workshop tour.
Great deal for $100.
Have a Jesus filled day everyone
Greg in Michigan
Thanks! God was certainly watching over us during that storm.
Good haul 👍
Thanks! I really like that heavy middle box so I'll be repainting that and matching it up to a set.
hell of a haul
Thanks! Some interesting boxes for sure.
You got your money back with the one Snap On wrench Lol! Great tool haul. Like to see you clean up the Craftsman bottom box!
Thanks for the video
Thanks! I may clean up that Craftsman box. I think I even have a logo/badge that would work.

@@floridarusticrepairs Good to hear my 2 neices made it thru too minimal damage
Where is that echo coming from?🤔 Is that the sad sound of empty tool boxes? 😂
Fill them up!!
Lol! I had the camera in the open door of the workshop and the echo was very strong. Lesson learned there.

That piece is for determining Angles.
Thanks for the info! I was thinking that I had seen my dad use one many years ago.
I’ve always heard it called a bevel gauge. To duplicate an angle.
Gedore is a name brand wrench sought after by a lot of guys
Thanks for the info! I did not know that.
Mastercraft is Canadian Tire. Not sure where they are actually made though.
Thanks for the info!
Those India ones could be unmarked Gedores i think
Thanks! 'll see if i can match them.
Gedore are German made, well made.
Thanks for the info! Looks like it goes in my keeper pile.
Mugsy came to supervise not be in the way
He’s become a regular in the workshop now. He likes sitting on the workbench to supervise.
The bottom is a craftsman.
Thanks! I think you’re right. I may even have a spare badge that will fit the front. It’s unusually heavy.
